Guys i called up canada on Friday, the lady checked and confirmed that yes we have received your application on 10th march but i cant check the status of your application, she said sydney should send you response by now  but i dont know why they have not yet replied , she said i am sending them an email and if you dont get response within 30 days call us back.

what to do guys its 82th days today what might could be the reason for such delay should i expect rejection because my Credit Card has not been charged up til now.

should i use case specific enquiry ?

i am very much disappointed

I have query with my VO they said there in no information about my application....... mine application also received by CIO 10th March 2010..........

dude we both are in the same batch - i dont know what they are doing with our application, people are getting replies after 30 - 40 days but unfortunately we are the unlucky onez

i have send the application to canada stating my brother status as married which he is not.the cio has asked me to send the docs to delhi.can i correct the error i have done that is shal i put my brother status as un-married.tho i am the principal applicant & none from my family is accompanying me  to canada.plz help

I am also really disappointed and discouraged.. I have applied on 03/17 and nothing from CIO. my CC is also not charged.

I mentioned only the high level duties in the application (like the ones who got rejected). But I have attached a one page letter from my company  HR which explains all the IT PM duties. This is my only hope.. Not sure what will be the outcome...

I spent lot of effort and money in getting the PCC from 3 states in US and FBI clearance, Dubai PCC, India PCC, Oman PCC and IELTS.

I am worried that all my efforts will go in vain..

I think, I need to make up my mind for the rejection..

Hi, I'm going to Cold Lake, Alberta.

Yes, there are lots of jobs up there but it is very remote, the nearest City is Edmonton which is 4 hours drive.  It's going to be very different and i'm sure hard to get used to when you have lived in lovely England all your life.

Hi my_lib,
U can explain in the cover letter and attach to your corrected application. i'm sure they will understand the situation.

P.S. i guess there is no option for <un-married>, u should put <never married> or appropriate option.
