Applicantion received by CIO 19th April
Application filled well but suspect i did not write N/A in "other names you are or have been using" in my spouse's background info- i think I left it blank.
Rest of the application is alright.
Any guesses guys what will happen to the application? returned back / processed ?
Any calculated guesses are appreciated.

Hi all,

I have just been informed by my Credit Card company that CIO tried to debit my account on May 12, 2010 but due to blockage of my credit card they failed. I have not received any email from CIO yet.

Please advise me what to do?

hi all
i would like to ask from u that my application was sent back on 10th May due to missing two columns  and i re-submited on 11th May 2010. after sending my application i came to know that PRA form has been updated. but i sent the old form. can it be a problem or not?

Nothing to worry about, it was most probably a mistake made by their side which your fax would fix soon enough, I'm guessing this might be the visible cause for your AOR's delay and their priority to send AORs is mostly via email, as they know snail mail has an unpredictable lead time, if you didn't get any email then it should be okay, however follow up on your fax response.

weird thing happened last week, as i have applied second time in march 2010 i have a file number and can check my online status. my name is appearing twice on e-cas - - one is for the first app and second one is for the second application status. on the main page of my e-cas my mailing address was appearing with my name same which i submitted in my first application though my current address is still the same.

Last week when i lodged in the e-cas i saw completely different address like they completely messed the whole address most weird part is that in the end of the address they have changed my country to INDIA from pakistan. . i tried to contact my local CIC through e-mail but they replied back that we have deleted your email as they cant entertain address change request on email so send us a signed fax which i did yesterday.

my concern is that why have they updated my address what this shows is this a good sign or does it reflect anything ? ?
 & secondly incase if they have sent any mail or communication on wrong address and it bounced back will they resend automatically and give me more time > ? because i have applied on march 10th and still no news from CIC.

First think you should do is to ask the credit card company to remove that block. Sometimes debiting company (in this case CIC) may attempt that request once again after 24 or 48 hours. I am saying this based on what I read somewhere and also as a software analyst I wrote software component with that kind of logic for a commercial web application. I can not guarantee that is the case with CIC.

I'd suggest to fill new ones to avoid confusions while making, the letter they sent as the initial cover of the application package.

These minor mistakes can be neglected, however theres no guarantee for it, hope for best !! and Good Luck.

As per previous cases similar to yours... Applicants received their whole bundles via snail mail back to them with a letter stating the errors. The same might be in your case.

Thanks for the reply. Its been six days that they have attempted to debit my card. There is no email from them and I suspect that my case may be rejected.

Should I send fresh application or just wait for them to ask for payment?

Other applicants got their whole packages returned and they had to re-submit their cases as fresh, some tried a different mode of payment.
