hi all
My form was sent back by CIO on 10th May 2010.

The reasons are as under.
VISA OFFICE NOT  ISLAMABAD  LONDON
FAMILY MEMBERS MENTIONED 1 INSTEAD OF 3
LEFT ONE COLUMN BLANK OF MY SON
here i would like to say that i filed my application on 20th March at that time visa office was islamabad but due to poor delivery of OCS it was received by CIO on 1st April so CIO highlighted that u have mentioned wrong visa office.
Anyhow i have rectified these mistakes and  re-submited my form to CIO through UPS on 11-05-2010.
Besids this everyting was ok. Now i am hoping good from there side.
one more question would any one tell me that NOC list is same or has been changed?

i m planning to apply for FSW. Shud i hire any immigration agents services or is it possible to do the entire immi process on our own. i m frm India

Damn... this means mine will be returned as well. I have also written Islamabad instead of London.... did nt knew about the change of VOs.

Today I received 120 day email, 1st AOR. Please add me to the list.

Application reached CIO - March 16th
CC charged transaction date - May 11th.
1st AOR, Full Docs request - May 13th.

Hi,   Did you recieved email from them or all the documents sent by you were posted back to you? and did you only filled in the forms identified with mistakes by CIO or all documents? thirdly what about your payment??? Had u sent them your credit card details or DD?? if DD than what happened to it???  Thanks

If your application reached on or after 1st April, then sadly yes, the same might happen..

MIGHT is fine with me  .. i hope the officer overlooks it.... will save me a great deal of misery n inconvinience....... hope whoever checks my app comes to office in a great mood and decides to go in my favour for once in his/her life.....

Though my mail was delivered on March 12th, CIC online status indicates Application is received on March 16th. So updated my profile accordingly. In that case AOR is received after 58 days.

Even though i'm not irshad let me answer:

U don't have to hire anyone, cause u'll do the most doc preparation by yourself anyway, unless u really want to spend (waste) money on that.
The best source for info about what? how? when? if... is official web page for immigration to Canada: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp
it will be so simple after u read everything till the end. Believe me u'll be pro in that!

if u have any question i'm positive that people from this forum are open to help too

I have all documents ready for sending my Full Docs to Visa Office other than IELTS test score. By virtue of my education & work experience I may be eligible for a waiver on IELTS test. But anyway I scheduled it for June 5th. Now the dilemma is,
1. should I wait for IELTS test report before I send full docs (I am not facing risk of any expiring docs)
or
2. I send full docs now and send IELTS report after I get it.

Option 2, keeps me ahead by 1 month.

What did others do in similar situations? Please share your thoughts.

Because you filed your application before 10 April, so the new rules of IELTS would not apply to you. Submit English proficiency letter claiming all your skills etc, meanwhile when you get IELTS, submit that as well. Following old rules, IO will request IELTS if your letter etc could not satisfy. we sent our applications off on the 9th March and the credit card was debited on the 15th April however we still waiting for our confirmation email

CIO sent back all my documents including my draft by post. CIO just highlighted my mistakes in the PRA form and asked my interest to submit it.
