what i do my applicagtion is still stuck up at Canadain custom for review. iI sent my application via GPO on 19th March what I do?
Is there anyone who has same experince?

i would say u wait till the end of april to get the aor. and if cio layoffs are going to affect march applicants, then all i can say is keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best

Guys, I think we will have no issues with regard to AOR as the feb applicants are still getting AORs in expected timelines.
However this article talks about trimming the 38 category list which could be risk for some of us.
Tell me, if we get AOR, are we good to apply to visa office, eventhough our NOC is taken off from the list?

Hi all
I am following these news of Layoffs and delays while i don't see any problem in this. There are couple of things i would like to bring out

1) DO ya all think Canadians in general and officials in particular are so stupid that they shall layoff people without thinking about the repercussions?
I don't think so, as even on a small company scale when bosses lay off they have plans to put replacements in place. Isn't it?

2) if the situation is like i said above (and be certain it is) then rest assured that replacement personnel shall be at work like the laid offs and everything shall be processed as normal.

3) Now i come to how we think?
Problem is the deteriorating financial conditions in the world in general and in our parts of the world in particular are dragging us towards the ally of immigration. Once we enter in this street (by throwing an application), we start building up hopes (which is quite normal and we have been doing this since we were kids), and when small glitches arise like the one in question, it provokes our fears (which is again normal). This fear of loosing, gets hold of our nerves and start gripping our senses and we start worrying about very minute details (namely. what should be left blank, CHC shoudl be London or ISB, etc etc).

I think i am trying to be too philospphical so i better stop.

Main thing is dears Allah says in Quran "If the circumstances in your own suburbs are made rough and unbearable for you we shall open new paths for you. If you come across such situations migrate and we shall help you".

This is what we all are doing. Have faith in Allah, God Ram Etc. If you are right then no one can stop you just have believe in yourself and trust in Allah.

once your case has been filled it will not affect even though ur NOC is taken off..........
