That's wonderful news! Congrats! I've also received my 2nd AOR (sometime in August), so we are in the same boat. By the way did you receive a bunch of stickers with a barcode and your new file no on them when you got your 2nd AOR? Do you know what they are meant for? |

Hey, I am new to thread. We have sent our application to the CIO in NS in March and got our first AOR on May 18th. We have sent our complete documents to Buffalo on June 15th, received there at June 16th. Since than, haven't heard anything else. Have sent them an email and got the message back that it can take up to 30 weeks until we get our next AOR. Has anyone got their 2nd AOR for an application sent in mid June or already heard something about the further process. THANKS so much  |

Depending on the VO, some take a bit of time due to the huge number of applications received. Hey, I am new to thread. they do blood test for HIV/AIDS, take X-ray for tuberculosis, check whether your kid/kids are up to date with immunizations, if not u have to immunize them. probbly i'm missing smthg... Good luck, Chami |

Hi Adufe, yes u r right, there were 4 bar coded labels about in-out or smthg like that, i'll check it tell, didn't pay attention on that at all. was too happy to get it  |

Hey to all, just heard from one of the May applicants that they are receiving their 2nd AORs this month. Sooo, this should mean we are next in the long waiting queue and get something sooon  I tried to check my status in the e-cas but either my ID (from work permit) nor the B-number from Sidney NS works. Anything special to consider?  |

Looks like Buffalo office is taking a lot of time in sending 2nd AORs .. After your status changes to Received by Office, you get the 2nd AOR within a month or so, it is advised to right to them and mostly your new file # is mentioned in their reply.

If anyone in this thread had their application LOST BY CIO, please post your details on the thread "LOST APPLICATIONS". We are hearing of a number of Post 26/6 apps that were received by CIO and now they have no idea where they are. This is serious and we wish to get a sense of the number involved. Anyone directly affected is encouraged to make their concerns known to the Minister. Thanks.
