Hello seniors, pls guide me.

Received letter yesterday from Immigration Regional Program Center, Buffalo saying :

This refers to the fee you recently submitted to this office. Please submit the correct fee according to the instructions below. The exact amount is required. We cannot process an underpayment or an overpayment.

(they have checked the following options)
x. Fee must be paid by an official bank certified cheque/draft/money order or law firm trust cheque. We don't accept personal cheques.
x. Credit card payments are not accepted in the Buffalo office.
x. Please return this letter along with the correct payment, to ths office so that we may continue processing your file.

Enclosed:
Copy of my Fee payment form- Application for permanent Residence Federal skilled worker class.
( I have sent this document to Buffalo office becuase it is part of the full package which was sent to CIO, so I did not bother to remove it)

Now seniors,
I did not understand if they are requesting  RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE or is the Visa Office thinking I did not pay CIO fee? Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks for your follow up inputs  ..

Dear Amar

In the first AOR from CIO (Should be an email) they mentioned a "Payment Receipt No" regarding your Application Processing Fee. When you are sending your full docs to VO then you are supposed to mention this number as your proof of payment. So if CIO provided you with a "Payment Receipt No" in your First AOR then Coat that number in a cover latter stating your payment status. And send the document to VO with the latter they provided to you. The RPRF will only be requested on Medical Stage.

 @ idas,
Yes, I have already sent a print copy of that email(file no & receipt info) to Buffalo as part of my full document submission. I am not sure why they send this letter at this stage.

thx

1,250.00 Canadian dollars for  primary applicant, spouse , 1 child.

Do you think they are requesting me this, thinking I have not paid fee to CIO. I should have stopped sending the Fee Payment authorization form copy to VO, which I have sent to CIO. This might have put them in confusion.

One more question> I have now new file number from Visa office, while checking status, what option should I select to check online status. While I selected Immigration File number and type new file number, it says no information found(received new file number from Buffalo just yesterday).

pump in your ideas folks..
Thanks

Hi Amar,
What i think is confusion by officer, but it's better if you e-mail them asap, clarifying the situation. Mention if they're requesting PR fee, you are willing to provide it immediately. scan the doc you've received from them and attach it to you E-mail. don't waist time. Hope you'll get quick respond from them

Good luck,
Chami
