hi everyone,

i have eventually sent in my full application to VO in the month of August 2010. it got to the VO on the 26th August as my 120 days of grace elapsed on 27th, the following day.

Still keeping my fingers crossed while i expect a favorable response from the VO

any body knows that when can we expect 2nd AOR after submitting full documents?

anytime between 1 to 4 months........London is loaded right now so keep your expectations low for a quick AOR... Nevertheless good luck...

here i have a doubt regarding proof of funds, i have submitted the full documents to london CHC, now if i need some in emergency can i withdrawn some money from my bank account which i shown in Proof of funds.

is there any problem, means will they check the accounts by calling the banks please give me advise

Dear JAP,

U should keep required funds in your bank account till visa issues. Yes u can withdraw in between as there is no clear direction from CHC to maintain it but it might create problem if in case they verify your funds from your bank. If they find lesser amount, then they will ask u to resubmit "proof of fund" which may delay your case further to 2-3 months.

It is better to keep required/declared funds untouched till visa issues.

Thanks for all your good wishes.
The 2nd AOR came by email. Ecas status has also been updated to "Received by Visa Office"
Dear lukeke , not sure why it took so much time. It is as iff they waited for the 120 day deadline frm 1st AOR to elapse before sending it. also, I have noticed from another thread for all Damascus applicants that after May 2010, there seems to be quite a delay.
