Hi all,
My brother and family moved to Canada last weekend and they have PR there...
My buffalo VO deadline is on September 30th. Do u think I can claim adaptability points since my brother has been in canada only for a weeks?He has already rented an apartment and has got the lease agreement staring on august 1st.
Or is there a minimum amount of time that he has to be in Canada before I can claim the points?

You need to provide CIC with your brother's PR card's photocopy.
you have a way, you can make xerox copy of your brother's Visa and send it along with your full docs. attach a cover letter addressing the IO about the situation. you'll be fine.

IELTS must rule:
Is this rule applied to the ones who applied in Mar 2010 too. I noticed that CIO Application guide is changed making compulsory. Seniors how to interpret this rule..
I know it is safe to write the IELTS. will write it. Just dropped my file to Buffalo today.

Hi,
We finally got our Indian PCC last week (more than 45 days time taken by RPO) and now I am finally collecting all relevant documents to notarise and send to New Delhi CHC. For POF, I am planning to send a notarised printout of my bank a/c details from Internet along with PF, stock and other savings.
Also for work experience, I am planning to send a written explanation along with Appointment, Promotion letters, latest payslips (3 months), IT returns and Form 16. This is because my company is unable/unwilling to issue a letter of reference (I have only worked in one company till date - Central Govt. PSU in India)
Can anybody comment what the format of the written explanation/ affidavit should be in?
Hope that everything goes smoothly from now. Thanks in advance.

I got my first AOR by email on Jun 10 2010 but did not receive the hardcopy by mail yet. Is it the same with every one. It was already 2months, if they had actually posted it. My address is correct on the CIC services application tracking website. Should I call to inquire about this.

I have not seen anyone who got 1st aor by post everyone i know got it through thier email. Have you gathered your document yet? please do and send full document to visa office. Please remember to include a printed copy of the email in your full document to be submitted to visa office. Goodluck |

1st and 2nd AORs usually come by email only, although medical and passport requests come by regular mail, hard copy is not a must, the email which they sent is sufficient, keep it safe. Mirza. First AOR by Mail:
