dear filcpa,

I read some where in this forum, CHC LONDON will not send any AORs (aknoledgement of receipt), we will receive only FILE NUMBER in 90 days period of time (approval or rejection of our case).

now my question is what will we receive now, AOR or File Number? if it is AOR than it should be come from CIO Canada after 2 or 3 days of our file submitted (but they or not sending AOR now days, we have to consider our courier delivery DATE as our FILE SUBMISSION DATE) am i right?

if it is FILE NUMBER then we can wait for 90 days of time period..............

Dear 58553CA,

If I understood it correctly, CHC London is a Visa Office which assesses full documents for countries under its jurisdiction after getting positive assessment from the Centralized Intake Office in Nova Scotia.

In our case, we are awaiting our AORs from CIO in NS which they are still issuing. Most of the February 2010 applicants have received AORs through their emails (which took about 6 to 8 weeks if you will do the math). If positively assessed, you will receive a file reference number which you will use in dealing with your designated Visa Office as you submit your full documents. Will also try to ask around.

but they reject it and i re apply again , and today i saw this msg , this mean they accept second application or what?

We cannot conclude that your application has been accepted till you receive any confirmation / AOR from Sydney, it can only be said as an acknowledgement and your application is under observation, keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. We'll be hearing good news and AORs will be flowing in pretty soon
