Hi guys!

Please help. My bank here in saudi does not have recepient for bank draft in canada. And if I will apply for credit card to pay the FSW application fee, it will take two weeks. Do you think it it okay to pay with my friend's credit card? Or to pay by bank draft but not under my account? thanks!

I am in Saudi, you can open account in SAMBA or SAAB then get your bank draft, however by SAMBA draft you can't follow your draft even if CIC cashed. You should ask SAAB bank if you can follow your draft, try it.

Hi All,

I have send my documents 3rd time to Canada Nova Scotia, well I forgot to fill "N/A" once and then secondly I paid the amount on the CIC website but they told me for FSW they would not accept payment made on the website, but to either send draft or CC in the form they provided. After all this delays finally the documents were received on March 8th, 2010 and are now in Nova Scotia, my credit card has not been charged yet and I have not received anything in post or email.

I live in the USA and I would like to get some guidance regarding IELTS, I strongly feel that I would not need it, as I have studied

1) Masters in India in English,
2) Masters in Belgium in English,
3) Masters in USA in English,
4) Had Toefl with over 250 when I first planned to study here in the US
5) I work here for a Fortune 500 company.

I really do not want to take IELTS but would prefer to write about my qualification and background, so I am just hoping if any of you guys would suggest otherwise!

Thanks finally for your help and would appreciate if you can post when you received communication about your acceptance or rejection from CIC.

hello ala_espange,

when CIO returned your forms, how long did you receive your documents?

I too, just realize that I forgot to include processing payments for my 3 dependent children.

I really hope they would just inform me to send additional payments, so it will not cause too much delay on my assessment.

any body knows that, how will I know is my D.D en-cashed or not.

I took D.D. from HSBC Dubai branch, i phoned them & asked for the details whether my D.D. was en-cashed or not,  they said they can not give details & they can not track it. simply they said they don't know and check with Canada HSBC Branch.

how will i check with Canada HSBC Branch..................

please any advise......................

hello ala_espange,

It took about two weeks for them to look at the application and they posted back to me through first class mail which took about 2 more weeks so about 1 month each time.

Hope this helps
