Manitoba PNP - Family Stream, October 2010

Hi Everyone, I am a newbie (lol) and I have submitted my application for Manitoba PNP under Family Stream in October 2010. My uncle is my sponsor and during December 2010 I received a letter (with temporary reference number) asking for my sponsor's National Health card. My sponsor submitted the requirements before Christmas 2010. I have not receive any letter from Manitoba since, not even a letter stating that they have received the required additional documents.

Is this normal? Does that mean that my application is being processed? or there is a window of rejection?

I have read some people's post and had some similar 'request of additional documents' and not received letters either. My sponsor also is not worried, so I hope that this is a standard procedure.

Also, I know its stupid to ask but I am confused with the abbreviations, I can guess some but to be on the safe side, can anyone tell me the meaning of the following abbreviations?

(1) AOR
(2) LOA (Letter of Approval?)

hi Im in the same situation was asked to provide additional documents but after 20 days I send them a mail to know whether they have received documents or not.they wrote till date we have nt recd. any document.So I asked my sponser to deposit in person.
AOR is acknowledgement of receipt,informing that they have recd. ur application,will provide u with a file no.
LOA-A formal certificate of nomination,(if ur mpnp application is approved)

could you advise what all proofs you have submitted as proof of relationship with uncle.

I want to apply for manotiba family stream since my cousin wishes to sponsor me. We are struggling with all these birth certificates, so could you advise have you all used birth certificates or any other alternatives too.
