who was that?
sis she/he apply under family stream or general stream..
i guess the family stream takes a shorter time than general stream..
im still waiting for my sponsors to be interviewed..
i hope you receive your LOA soon..
is there a possibility that they wont call the sponsors but give the LOA?

July 2010 - my sponsor passed my papers to Manitoba immigration
October 2010 - receive a letter asking for additional information (settlement funds)
December 2010 - my sponsor got interviewed
January 18, 2011 - receive my letter of approval

Hello Devinder, Viole and joy:

That is great news coming out more nominations and LOA letters from Manitoba in january 2011. I went to the link seems language different from English , so I just saw the dates . It might be family support stream that person. They are sending letters for applicants whose sponsor interviewed in December 2010.

Viole,
That person whom got LOA lately is not here on this forum now. I think his/ her name is bent. Personally I believe she or he applied under family support stream. You applied under general stream it takes a bit longer time to got your sponsor interviewed, your whole application might be between 6-8 months if all documents are complete , as you recieved AOR then your application is complete and it is being assessed now. Manitoba immigration usually encourge people not to contact to ask about applications progress, but I believe you can contact them , however I think it is better to wait a litttle bit because some people here applied same time as you did and not recieved sponsor interviewed yet.

The lucky person was sunshine , she recieved her LOA today, and that is fair because she appled in June and her sponsor interviweded in Dec.

 I think the people whom applied in May got their LOA letters but they are not here to tell us

The good news from my point of view, we do not have to wait long time as the people applied in June 2010, because now manitoba immigration is processing applications faster as they have nominations certificates at the year begining.

iam new to this forum...i already applied my husband ,our daughter,and I for manitoba nomination program and we have been refused due to the sponsor social problems ...the sponsor is my husband 's aunt
now we applied again after 6 months last december....we received AOR so far and they said that they will call our sponsor and interviem him and that we should not try to contact them...our sponsor this time is my husband 's brother who has just finish a year in manitoba.

i wana now what are the questions they will ask our sponsor ..any idea?
and how long is this going to be?
