this mean your mecial is ok n no problem with medical...they only update medical status when u fit in medical....so now u don't need to be worried abt your  medical

 no body helps can you tell me how long it takes to get AOR I have applied for Manitoba general stream (file submitted on aug 25) still havent  recived any replies from Manitoba how long it take to get AOR I am currently in UK but i have applied from India my mailing address is in INDIA Punjab anybody help please reply soon Or shall I call them now abt my AOR

hi donot worry sometimes it takes a while.In my case i didnot get an AOR jst a temperory file no.with additional docs request after
5 months sponser interview n then my LOA.U can see my timeline.hope this helps

Hello everyone.

Please read following -
GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery, Three and half year's Full time course) = 16 Points
Work Experience 3 Years = 12 Points
Age 26 = 10 Points
Sponsorship from two close friends = 5 Points
Language Skill (IELTS) 7.5 Bands (8.5+8+7.5+6.5) = 10 Points

Total = 53 Points

Is that correct?, I got these points from local consultant, please take a look. They recommended 6 months more work experience for 2 extra points or sponsorships from 2 differant cities in Manitoba will fetch me 10 points. Is that correct? Also can we try our luck and apply with 53 points, what are pro's and con's?

Next year i'm planning to visit my brother in Canada. If i receive my Medical Request while travel in Canada, can i take the Medical Exam in Canada and post it back to my original country?

they asked them how they knw us,in wot wayz they'll support us,why do we intend to settle in canada,bout our job n their job profile.In the end they said u'll receive letter when Decision is made.

I thought I would share my timeline and share some information about my Sponsor's Interview

Timeline:

Category: MPNP Family Stream

Date of Application: 27/04/2011
Temp File Number/ Doc Requested: 18/07/2011 (Dated 30/06/2011)
Addl Docs Sent: 20/07/2011 (via Email)
Sponsor Interview: 26/10/2011

Ok, so the above mentioned is my time line, my sister is my sponsor, she was asked the following questions:

* What is your brother's current occupation?
* How long has he been working for that company?
* Do you have any relatives outside of Manitoba?
* What is your current occupation and your husband's occupation?
* What way would you be able to support you brother if he moves to Manitoba?
* Are there any other relatives in Canada outside of Manitoba?
* What is your brother's highest qualification?
* How do you think your brother would be able to adjust to Canada?

My brother-in-law sponsored his brother last year, so they also asked the whereabouts of him and whether he has found a job.

So, basically these are the kind of questions you can expect for a Sponsor Interview, Hope this helps guys...       

Also, I would like to know what happens next? Is the next step for me to get LOA? If so, how long would it take from the time the Sponsor Interview is done. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Have a good one peeps.. Cheers

Edu: MS in Engg.(US-electrical),this year
age:34;work Exp(past 5 yrs):2.5yrs in US+0.5 year India.
French:no skill.English:Advanced as I belief(no official score, but worked in US)
kid:1(5 years age).
Spouse: age:24 yrs.
Edu:SSC(secondary school);didn't continue for an unavoidable problem.

I want to apply as a principal applicant.
Please give me your opinion.

Yeah u can apply from home country I am also in UK I applied from my home country INDIA
