GUYS! CHLILLAX! keep in mind that the embassy already issued the visa based on PPR. We're just waiting for the real deal, our pp w/ visa. Here's a list to keep your mind away from the waiting game:
Para sa magastos
1. Watch a movie
2. Meet friends over lunch or dinner (no discussions over the visa)
3. How about a date with your parents (your treat)

Minimal gastos
1. Eat icecream and watch HBO / Cinemax / HISTORY channel (ok ito) / Nation Geo / Discovery...
2. Ibahin nyo dinner (PIZZA!

No Cost
1. Bike - may park pala d2 samin  Tongue
2. FB - you know what I mean
3. Try gardening (wag tirik ang araw ha)
4. Read the Bible (did you know that a Donkey spoke in the old testament? Numbers 22)

For people with work
1. Work hard / play harder hehehehe  Tongue
2. Clean your desk (Windows desktop din)
3. Try cleaning your trackball mouse (google nyo how  Wink)

Bottom line is that we should keep in mind that migrating is a big change. Physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Ang daming pa natin kailangan gawin before we leave.

just my 2 cents. I hope walang ma offend hahahahahaha joke

God bless! Wink

saludo ako saiyo jigjig

The time starts to tic tomorrow...feb 18, 2011...my 6 months prior to expiry of visa....so visas are not released 6 m0nths prior to expiry...i feel like im having chest pains and shortness of breath....pede ba ung sabihin sa vo baka unahin ang masama na ang lasa....hehehehe.....

Don't be upset. Our visas were released on Jan. 17th. 5 months before the expiry! Grin See? Ang mahalaga, narelease pa rin. Now, if ever marelease ang visa nyo 2-3 months, or worst, 1 month before expiry, just ready yourself for the worst case scenario. Ganun talaga. Just my two cents.

@   jigjig: aprub! chillax muna tayo!

@   corbe01 and canada5: oks lang yan mga ka-forum. heated discussions are results of active minds. no personal issues ha. the last thing that we want ay magsungitan tulad ng nangyayari sa kabilang forum :S kaya lahat ng opinyon ay accepted. pag written text talaga minsan mahirap kasi isang punctuation mark would spell the difference. wala ring newbie or oldbie (may ganyang word ba? hahhaha) lahat tayo papunta sa Canada and nde pwedeng mag-discriminate -- whether its cultural, age, color or anything. kaya pantay-pantay tayo dito Smiley

lahat pwedeng gawin - as long as we have a healthy discussion and learn in the process.

guys, medyo kaunting cool lng, iyang mga posts dto is for us to know more of what is happening......we should always remember we are on the last stage of the processing which is VISA issuance, for all the days, months....and even years we are waiting for our papers to be process dto pa tyo bibitaw, we should have always patience and faith beside us, it is just a matter of days or months nalang to wait di na po years kasi i know all of us here the expiry of our visas would not reach by december 2011 so tama yung sabi ng iba kahit a month before maexpire basta na release it would be ok pa rin but we should be ready because of the short time nalang to prepare para makaalis....so we should all be productive as early as of now before we leave.....

@  heatspine ng PM na ako sa iyo regarding your enquiry.....share with you i have an interview by March 2011 by one of a representative of a company arriving from Canada for a business trip here, di na sila makaantay makarating ako dun he...he....wish me luck....

...actually no one is loosing hope in this thread...everyone's hopes are high. we know that it will come, in God's time...and those what you said are speculations, they are just conversations going around this thread, and thats what makes our spirits high....even the agencies doesnt know whats going on inside cem, so this are what we just think, for connecting purposes....this is our way of sharing what we feel deep in our hearts and minds, kasi as they all say nobody is an island...eventhough sometiomes we become depressed on what is happening, the hope is still up high..and we have each other to thank for that, because were all in the same timeline...

I understand what you mean canada5, especially re the speculation bit.  After all, I posted some speculations of mine here too. lol.   Which are in other words, our opinions.  hehe.   It's only natural that we try to rationalize the reason/s behind the unexpected delay in the return of the passports w/ visa (as opposed to the what was previously quite a fast process), and share with those in similar situation.  I mean, sino ba hindi nagtaka rito right, given na ang bilis nila sinoli the passports with visa for the batch/es before ours in FSW NOC38?

So anyway, yeah, kaya ako, in the end, I just adjusted my expectations na lang after all my speculation, and all the info I've learned in the thread and forums.  Hehe!  From expecting the visa this quarter, to expecting to receive it two months before it expires (which, coincidentally, happens also to be the month  when I submitted my full docs to CEM).  It is apparent: they are staggering the release of visas this year.  And it is apparent: merong prioritization and FSW NOC38 with visas not yet released are at the bottom of the pile for those already earmarked for the visa.  Therefore, in my case, I just find it more realistic to expect it some weeks before it expires and not this early na.  If this quarter I get it, great.  Otherwise, no great shakes as long as it's still within the one year duration with CEM from full doc submission.  And wag naman sana beyond that (Hay torture.  Lol!   Grin).

I just don't wanna be caught up again in another processing delay as what happened with my first FSW app in 2007 (when less than 6 months later in Feb 2008 the FSW NOC38 policy started to be put in place).  That's too much na.

Lucky rin talaga those who submitted post-Feb 2008/FSW NOC38 but before we did.  They had the best processing times which we also expected for ourselves if not for the CIC policy changes (dang!).

So yun lang po.  To everyone, let's manage our expectations, and chillax lang.  If there's something we read that potentially raises if not already raises our hackles, reread again the post and give the the poster the benefit of the doubt.  Remember po, we are in a public forum even though we are "anonymous".  Hehe!  If we want to confront a thread poster, do it privately if possible with the poster in question or just skip it all together (kasi ang wrinkles!!).  hehe...  Cool

Grin  I still look forward to reading this thread and getting your opinions and updates.

Wow!  Good luck po to you canada73!  I wish I were in a similar situation para pag-land sana run, may work na.  I don't feel like going exploring when I land, would rather get a job asap.  Kasi yung exploring mabilis na yan since anjan na and hindi naman mawawala mga bundok and parks dun if I don't go see them right away. Lol! Then the fun part would follow.  hehehe!

@ mimi0713                       i send almost 25 resumes to different companies and still on going, and unfortunately almost 10 had a reply which 5 of them got an interest with my experience and giving me a great deals, grabe nga feeling ko nilalako ko yung sarili ko just to make a job which is quite silly, thinking I had a great job before but no regrets because i try to think this all for my kids future for them to have a better one.....
