ano ba yan...sobra ng tagal ng mga nangyayaring to...this morning i went to the hospital para iextend ang leave ko...hay naku....kakahiya na lahat cla akala nkaalis na ako....wala na ko magawa c ecas in process pa din....so inupdate ko mga resumes the ciip way for canada format daw....my nurses po ba dito, any idea if i nid to retake ielts if it expires wile the application process is not yet finalized.. pati board exam for nurses ang tagal din mgreply....hay naku....

I asked my hubby to call CIC (agency) just now po, cnabi nilang reason kya delayed ung mga visa is because backlog daw sa mga 2004 applicants, they also dnt know when irerelease ung mga visa natn

Now for some sherlock analysis:

This could be the reason why everything has slowed down. now, there is something to thank for in our case -- kasi i'm assuming na naka-earmark na tayo to be part of the 56,000. Why? for the reason that a date (Visa Expiry) is already penned on our application. This does not prevent them though to drag the release of the visa. Kasi I think, IMHO, that the priority is on the post June 26 applicants. Mag-balancing act sila in releasing the pending applications (from pre-Feb 2008, post Feb 2008 and the post Jun 26).

Again it shows that we are still lucky. The noose is getting tighter and next thing we know baka sarado na ang immigration opportunity window.

hello canada5, ako ay isang dakilang nar na kagaya mo (pag dalawa na tayo, NARS na hahaha!) can you send me a sample resume for nurses na tinuro sa inyo sa CIIP? baka di na kami maka attend eh... thanks!... re IELTS, i believe once the College already asked for your IELTS result, naka file na yon with them... hindi na nila ikaw hihingian ulit... saan ka bang province nag apply?

it's good that most of us are still in high spirits... it's true that it can be a bit daunting because we are probably the first batch to be hit by this visa STAGGERING thing... so tayo ang panibagong yardstick ng new applicants... what is the agonizing wait for us right now will most probably be the norm when it comes to visa issuance from now on (for this period at least)... i know most of us are itching to leave, but hey, at least we are just waiting for our visas... so let's stay positive... let's keep in mind, mag saksak man tayo sa labas ng VO, kung hindi pa nila i re-release ang visa natin, we have no choice but to wait (unless mag mamaganda tayo na bawiin na lang ang passports natin at kanila na ang visang binibitin-bitin pa nilang i-release hahahahahaha! )...

i'm sure before the end of the month, many, if not most, of the people on our list would have gotten their visas already... so let us continue the positive attitude... isipin nyo na lang ang isang daan na applicants na gaya natin na hindi nababasa ang thread na ito, baka gabi gabi hindi na makatulog sa dami ng iniisip kung bakit wala pa visa nila until now wahahaha! baka yung iba may hypertension na or sakit sa puso

i suggest you pay in peso para 42k sakto (fluctuating ang dollars ngayon)... use a demand draft, check mo sa letter to make sure to whom you should make it payable to... you can write FOR APPLICANT NAME: your name and application number, using a PENCIL at the back of the draft (NEVER use ink or have it typewritten, isinosoli daw ng VO)...
