epgamer, para wag nga kaming mapraning, can you tell us when your visa will expire? kasi ikaw ang yardstick namin (so far) na mga FSW applicants under the new processing but prior to the june 26, 2010 changes... kasi if 3mos ang delay, then we should not expect any changes sa list natin this week since epgamer submitted his/her passport 12 days earlier than the one next in line, which is kiking... and kiking, can you put your visa validity date as well? hindi naman sa inuutusan kita hano... hahahahahaha!
superpeyt, just wondering, did you have any additional medical requests? kasi from april 2010, oct 2010 na lumabas ang PPR nyo and is quite a long wait... that usually just happens if the VO requires further medical evaluation...
the 6 month preparation, i think, is just a timeline the VO would like to follow... to give immigrants the time to prepare for their migration... di ba we are instructed sa PPR to
not make any plans to travel to Canada until we are in possession of our passports and the required visas
... so i think they will consider that immigrants will have to prepare before they leave and will give us as much time as possible to do this...
alam nyo ba ngayon na yung mga nag submit ng full docs nila, madami na silang more than 4 mos (lampas na ng 120 days) hindi pa din binibigyan ng instructions for medicals? i believe tayong mga FSW post june 2010 applicants received our MRs within less than 90 days hindi ba? so talagang sobrang dami siguro lang ng applicants and the canadian immigration is, thus, STAGGERING, the release of visas... so ngayon, sa MR pa lang, dinedelay na nila para wag silang maghabol sa visa issuance... plus, meron din isang thread here, puro naman sila waiting for PPR... as in oct. pa na submit ang complete MR, hanggang ngayon wala pa din PPR!
mas nakakaungas naman yon hindi ba?... sana mag forward na din mga papers nila...
we are lucky, we have our visa validity already... this means THEY HAVE TO PROCESS US prior to that date... an important consideration is how much heads-up time they will give us... since i read here that there was an FSW applicant, with initial medical exam done sometime last july 2010, who submitted their passport last dec. 02, 2010 and got their visas on jan. 27, 2010, i am assuming the VO is trying to adhere to issuing visas 6mos prior to their expiration... hindi na nila kaya ang 1 year commitment na binigay nila sa atin before because they did not expect the wave of applicants coming their way under this new immigration process...
so i think rationalization is the best way to ease our anxiety over this visa issuance roller coaster ride... let us sit tight, and wait... sa mga sept ang expiration, hindi lalampas ng march 2010 we should already have our visas... basta mag balot balot na tayo ng gamit (dadala ako isang kaserola lutuan ng itlog hahaha!)... let us make use of our time buying dollars (mababa ngayon aminin!)... sure na sure na ito...
i am sending all my positive energy to everyone... let's keep updating and helping each other, kahit andon na tayo (to my fellow immigrants bound for TORONTO, let's hook up!)... malay nyo ako pala ang staff sa burger king pag kumain kayo doon di man lang tayo nagbatian wahahahaha!
