Another thing, okay lang ba magdala ng mga goods like canned foods, noodles, sinigang mix,etc...etc... tska may limit po ba? mejo panic buying din kasi kami kasi pede na din namin pang pasalubong yung mga yun. Tapos pag sa list po ba need pa namin isa-isahin or in general na namin categorized as food/instant food then yung price?

Hi mc_geh. Check PAL's guideline. I think meron silang guide for those bringing in sports equipment (baka ma-categorize ang bike as sports equipment).

Yes, yung mga food items ok lang as long as its properly packed ... meaning ... dapat ang mga items e vaccuum packed or yung packaging ay ok. We brought a lot of it as well, and wala namang naging problema.

i read somewhere here, im not sure kng anong thread, ok daw na bank ung scotia, may program daw for new immigrants...

tanong ko pala, may nakakaalam ba kng ok lang magdala ng powdered milk  for the infant sa plane?

YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!.Finally 11:30 am today I got our passports back with the golden sticker. . .Were leaving this Oct 01.

it's the Canadian Child Tax Benefit (CCTB), monthly payment sya from the govt to subsidize the cost of raising children under 18.

yup. pwede magdala ng powdered milk for infants. pwede ka din magdala ng water for the baby para pag magtimpla ka ng milk.

Yung 45 days( working days ba yun?) Panic mode tuloy ak... Kala ko mga dec pa and request. Guys, from passport request to visa mga ilang months ave? Hay, need to buy ticket pa pinas  ulit.

arrive today in manila from cebu for our international flight the next day. we have 3 luggage with 22KG each and another 3 with more or less 14.5 KG.. we send our 3 luggage as cargoes yesterday thru cebu pacific and we'll pick it up tomorrow on the way to the airport but will make sure that we have time. and we brought with us the 3 baggage with less tha 15 via PAL since PAL has a free one bag with 15 KG per person.

Congrats sa lahat! I'm sure excited na kayong maka-land. It will be tiring to prepare for everything but its all worth it. Important talaga ang preparation - for landing and for settlement. Ask ko lang po if yong Canadian Child Tax Benefit the same ba yan with Child Care Subsidy? Appreciate your response. I have 3 kids kasi under the age of 18.
