Hi to all those who have already landed!
Just would like to ask what the schools there require for pre-school kids when they are enrolled there? Do they need to see the workbooks done here in the Philippines? Or is it enough to get certification from school here in Philippines? We are contemplating on scanning the materials our eldest has made for records if needed.
Appreciate your thoughts on this...

still waiting for our visa?? i dont know if will gonna still wait for our visa because our medical already expired. and our passport still on the embassy last june 17 2011. DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO??? are we gonna still wait for our passport w/ our visa even we know that our medical expired on july 2011
please help! follow up our application. im with my sister going to canada to migrate with our father. my mother just past away this feb 2011. so we really expect to have our visa this july or aug. help us. we really need to go with our father

I think it would not hurt to send them an e-mail and inquire directly to them about the status of your application. This is the e-mail of Canadian Embassy here in Manila: RE-MANIL.IMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca. I hope this helps.  |

Hmm i thought they'd only issue visas within the 1-year validity period of the medicals. Your timeline are really tight, send them an email asking for an update. Indicate that your medical has expired on July 2011. I heard of a relatively similar story but they were asked to redo their medicals to extend the validity of their visas but they were in constant communication with the embassy since there were problems with one of the dependent. Please do share the Embassy's reply on this issue considering we might end up with the same problem soon. Our medical will expire on October 2011 and we're only up to MR on my newborn at the moment. Hey guys, how are you? I've been away for quite so long since I am very busy looking for a place to stay in Calgary, job and preparation of everythiing. Everything is a job. Looking for a job, place and prepartion is a job itself. huh!

Are you from metro Manila or in the province? Coz two weeks delivery of your passport is quite long... When did your ECAS changed to DM? |
