epgamer just had his DM update. Ours will follow. Written naman sa PPR na "90 days best effort" - so siguro we use that as a baseline. Yung mga previous PPR kasi nde naman 90 days ang nakalagay but rather 3-4 weeks kaya within that range rin nila natatanggap ang passport. Siguro 90 +/- 30 more days or roughly around 120 days na ngayon ang turn-around time for PPR to Passport Return.

this can also be a test for us. remember when we land there, we should be prepared. long wait for employment is a near possiblity. kaya siguro patience should always be one of our assets .... ang dali sabihin -- pero nakakainip rin talaga ... hahaha Tongue

oh alright... so your application is different from ours pala... IN PROCESS for life yata ang status ko hahahaha! but i'm in high spirits... at least waiting for visa na kami dito... yung sa isang thread, they are waiting for their PPRs pa lang... it could be agonizing to wait but still, at least we are waiting for something... yung iba ni walang inaantay Cry

goodluck to you... dadating na yang passport mo with visa within this week siguro... congrats! Grin

feeling ko pagdating ng visas nmin wla na akong lakas na magsaya dahil naubos na sa kkhintay. Grin

iniisip ko nga kung anong purpose ni God kung bakit nadedelay ang pagdating ng visas ntin. im sure merong dahilan... probably gusto pa nya na we spend more time with our families here in PI. what do u think?

I definitely agree with you m2canada. God has better reasons for the delay. Hindi lang natin alam kung ano ang mga reasons na un but surely it's for our own good. Maybe God wants us to be grounded. This is such a humbling experience for all of us. Let's just stick to His words:

Seek and you shall find,
Knock and it shall be opened unto you.

rene, heatspine and the rest congrats!!! this week would very fruitful to all of us God knows how we experienced different feelings but he always good and that's why he will grant our wishes!!!!! everyday is a blessings good or bad it's still a blessing thank him for that.

i'm very thankful to have this thread not because we helped each other from the first to the last stage of our journey but because i met new buddies, new mates, and new people who shared feelings of triumph!!!! yahooo..... chill!!!

agree ako don sa sinabi nyo. maybe HE wants us to be better prepared when we land in Canada, i.e.,

a. start looking for jobs while still here (di ko pa yan nagagawa)
b. work on our credentials evaluation (buti na lng, tapos ko na ito)
c. enjoy dwindling days basking in the warm climate and hospitable people ---ginagawa ko na ito, at everytime magvideoke kami sa mga family & friends' gatherings, parang naho-homesick na ako at gusto ko ng umiyak sabay ask myself "CAN I STILL DO THIS IN CANADA?" Cry

sabi pa naman ni KRIS KLEMM sa COA, canadians don't like the noise of karaoke daw, no wonder when I was there as a tourist, sa basement lagi awitan ng mga pinoy para di mkabulahaw ng kapitbahay. eh mas enjoy bumirit kahit semplang kng masyadong malakas ang sound system, di ba? Grin

at don pa naman, tatak PINOY ang MAGIC SING. di ata kumpleto pagka pinoy mo kng wla kang magic sing sa bahay. Cheesy

(di pa pala ako nakabili nito)

d. certifications/credentials we have to bring with us

kung ano pa man ang kulang, tayo2x lng din makaka assess non. kahit pa mahirap tlaga mag-antay, we are still so much blessed because we have something we look forward to when we wake up everyday...DM status and visa Cheesy

kaya excited ako lagi everyday kahit na at the end of the day wla pa rin yng pinakahihintay dahil...tomorrow is another day!

yung iba...PARA KANINO AT PARA SA ANO KAYA SILA BUMABANGON Wink
