heatspine, my mistake (again)... when i view it using my netbook, the screen is too small so the application type goes down one line, i did not notice hahaha!
Stage-3: Meds Sent > e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Issue of PPR* > Send Passport/s > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made" >
*The Meds & PPR are sometimes 'clubbed' together.
Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed".
so this explains what happened to meganjms... may SECURITY CHECK pala talaga before visa stamping... so tama na they no longer review and re-evaluate the documents, they just run the security check, hence the NBI clearance request... this is good news... and so the waiting continues..... |

"CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada so that we meet, but do not exceed, the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must stagger the issuance of visas throughout the year"

@ m2canada - Salamat! @ heatspine - Thanks for adding me to the Waiting List! Hehe! Yeah medyo quiet na sa kabila so am glad to join this thread. lol. Can't believe talaga that "staggered" thing. Parang consuelo na lang is that our passports are at least with CEM already and they can't do anything else but stick our visas since they sent the PPR with the visa validity expiry date indicated. So, parang totoo pala what I read last year in the other forum. It was about an immigration bulletin released in Canada and received by an immigrant relative of the topic poster; wherein beginning this year or something CIC will prioritize the Family Sponsorships, then the Provincial Nominees before the rest of the Skilled applications (may somewhat soft application na nito this year with the release of the visas by CEM as you guys have noticed...Nauna mga old apps, then mga provincial, before they go down to the recent FSW apps, etc.). The bulletin mentioned that once that is in place, the Skilled apps will start to take 7 years to process. So if that's true and if there's someone reading this and thinking of filing their FSW immi app, there's no other better time to send your app than right now if you qualify and still count in the NOC cap. I think that's all of it. Tapos na kami sa lahat ng vaccines including my kids tapos na sa lahat ng mga boosters nila, we bought our luggages already, we have completed all the shirts, blouses, socks, pants, shoes, office wear, underwears. hahay VISA NALANG LORD!!! hehehe nothing much to do here in the office kaya nakakapagnet ako...
Haha! Am done with the clothes too...and a new wheeled carryon trolley. Visa na nga lang talaga just so other plans can then start moving (i.e., booking flights, attending seminars, etc.) at nang matapos na and relaxed na dapat mga a week before departure at least. Lol. Hope springs eternal people ... epgamer just had his DM update. Ours will follow. Written naman sa PPR na "90 days best effort" - so siguro we use that as a baseline. Yung mga previous PPR kasi nde naman 90 days ang nakalagay but rather 3-4 weeks kaya within that range rin nila natatanggap ang passport. Siguro 90 +/- 30 more days or roughly around 120 days na ngayon ang turn-around time for PPR to Passport Return. this can also be a test for us. remember when we land there, we should be prepared. long wait for employment is a near possiblity. kaya siguro patience should always be one of our assets .... ang dali sabihin -- pero nakakainip rin talaga ... hahaha  |
