what po ba okay na kunin na flight to vancouver? straight flight or yung my stop?

Convenience-wise, best po straight in my opinion.  No getting on and off and on planes tapos yung gate pala nung connecting flight eh nasa far end/kabilang dulo ng terminal.  Kapagod.  Lol!  Just straight.  I would choose this if not for the fact that PAL planes to Canada usually don't have individual inflight entertainment (meaning each seat merong screen for movies, games, etc...).   Si PAL lang kasi ang straight as far as I know.  

However, kahit straight si PAL, I don't enjoy long haul flights without those individual entertainment feature.  Experienced it with PAL.  Never again if I can help it. Regardless of which airline.  Super nakaka-bore/aburido, sakit sa ulo without it.  But that's just me.  Also, convenience means you pay more.  hehe.  But then, even if it happens that the PAL plane on that sched has the said individual entertainment screens, PAL can also change planes at the last possible minute to one without individual entertainment.  

If you have kids with you, it might be best to choose the straight flight too.  Though some have managed flights with stopovers even with kids along.

Friends please help me analyze my situation. This is the instructions when I got my Passport Request:

   "Please submit the original passports for yourself and every family member who will accompany you to Canada. Please enclose your passports in a secure envelope, clearly indicating your file number (BXXXXXXX) on the envelope. Do not staple and submit old passports together with your recent passports. Please remove passport jackets/covers."

-The problem is I was not aware that my 2 old passports was stapled lately ko na lang na realize. I will be travelling alone.
 Ang tanong ko lang po is ano ang tinutukoy na  do not staple ang passports in the envelope or old passports? Please help me analyze.
Will this cause a problem? Please advice. Salamat po.

I believe it means, you shouldn't send any old passport.  Just the latest.  If the old passport/s is stapled with the latest, remove the old one/s.  Once mag isa na si latest, just put it in the envelope (don't staple with envelope).  They only need that one latest passport, they don't  care about your old ones. hehe.

..Piracy~ don't bring daw  po even your downloaded movies & music from your laptop sad naman, kasi I have lotsa movies & music in my laptop & external HD.. im sure yon ang magiging libangan pagdating namin sa Canada... Meron nga kaya silang special detector for this???

I uninstalled frostwire and utorrent before I left the Philippines, hid my music files sa laptop ko sa pagkadamidaming folders within folders para lang mahirap makita. Pero di naman chineck at any of the airports I went through from HKG, Vancouver and Calgary.
They did not ask me to turn on my laptop at all, it just went through the x-rays in a separate bin and had to remove it from my bag and laptop sleeve.

It's up to you if you want to take the chance... Basta wag lang pirated CDs, that's a big NO. Good luck!

Correct... They have no time to check laptops by turning them on.. etc...  X-ray scan lang usually.  Rare ata yung binubuksan pa.  Never seen nor experienced that yet in my travels.

My Company just gave me a memo for my Car plan. Di man lang ako nasayahan since alam kong di ko un ma-aavail. Nasaan na kasi yang Visa na yan para ma-define na ang direction ko...

hi seniors. our visa validity is until sept 21 only. medio gusto namen na isagad ung stay dito dahil madami pa aaskasuhin plus some work-related stuff. my question is okay lang ba if August umalis? may nag advise kasi sa akin na dapat ASAP. kasi tatanungin daw ng IO. that makes sense, pero my concern is if ever ba gawin namen to wala bang repercussions?

Lol.  Same here..  Direction undefined and kelan ko kaya matanggap my passport (visa expires in Sept).. Lol.    

I already know when I will file my resignation but then habang wala yung visa, hindi ko rin malaman if ituloy ko pa.  Kaloka talaga.

I've a similar 'concern'.  Mine expires on Sept. 22 (and wala pa sa kin my passport/visa sa lagay kong to) and even if I get it this month, I've always planned on leaving at the last possible date which for me is also in September.  I've so many things to wrap up before departure as well, am sure they'll understand.  After all, we're not arriving with the visa expiring the next day.  Lol!

My main concern is I wonder what other tasks would get delayed/affected by it?  I mean like may effect kaya sya with SIN application, health card app etc once one lands in Canada those sorts of things.  Like may bearing ba expiry ng visa with applications for those, etc.  One never knows kasi.  Mamaya nyan bulaga na lang.  However, I've never come across yet any such scenario reported in the forums.  So praning lang ako.  Girl scout.  hehe!

Re the IO, magtatanong lang naman yan if indeed they will but then as long as valid pa ang visa on arrival why deny entry right?  Probably just a standard question for them.  And besides, we are moving to another country, not next door.  hehe..  So sana considerate.  At least I hope so.  Maybe others here might have better info?  Please share naman po.

ask ko lang po... re return of Passport w/ visa, meron ba dito kasama lang sa bahay naka receive ng passport at hind kayo mismo... ibibigay ba ng courier? need ba ng authorization letter?!?

ilalagay ko kse sa appendix A different address where my passport can be returned (Phil add c/o relatives) & not my mailing address.... or do I need to change my mailing address pa....out of the country Phil kse mailing address ko e. kung pwde sana mag send ng PP ang manila embassy outside Phil.

hi  rslcanada. as long as you have the necessary authorization letter for the one who will receive it, then that wouldn't be a problem.
