Manila V.O. - Waiting for the Passport with the Visa

  @  rubyalabar- thank you for taking time to answer on my post. Very detailed and it gave me a real picture on what might happen.  I was able to get a new schedule, it will arrive in Vancouver at 1:20 pm and depart for Calgary at 4pm. Hayy  punuan na  talaga. Ok na kaya tong schedule na ito?  Salamat po sa mga sasagot.

Hi all..

Ang saya saya nyo you all got your visas already (latest batch).  I should have been with you.  Lol. 

Am still waiting for mine though my meds/visa is supposed to expire in September 20s..  I have no idea what caused the delay of their return of my passport unless they also are following the date of their 2nd AOR to me (July) and not just the medical exam/visa expiry.  Kaloka.  hehe.  Sana yun nga lang ang reason. boo.  It's good I emailed them to follow up though 'cause they've replied and they've noted the expiry and have escalated the issue.  I just don't have news yet on what the outcome is.   

Anyhoo.. I've also booked my flight already for September with RELI Travel at SM Southmall and hope the visa makes it in time for the ticket payment deadline.  Sana po.  Hehe!  I didn't do much comparison anymore between agencies as the differences (last time I did so last year), weren't that significant from one travel agency to the other (nasa 100s only.. pesos) for the first time immigrant promo.  It's the differences of airfare cost between airlines that are more significant (in thousands):  i.e., the difference between Korean Air vs Cathay is more than 100 USD.  All these I asked were for Manila to Vancouver only, at immigrant promo fare.

The most expensive are usually PAL, Korean Air, and I expect Japan Airlines.  The rest cost less and aren't too far apart in cost among Cathay, Eva Air, and China Air (if am not mistaken). 

So yun lang po.  Thought I'd share what I remember re airfare cost.  hehe!  Sana dumating na visa/passport ko this June!!  So I can resign and also proceed with my trip and get the ball rolling again re Canada plans.  Gaaaah!!

Good day everyone!!   Please I need more inputs , especially from CIC Agency Applicants: Ipinadala nyo pa po ba sa Agency yung mga passports nyo o kayo na lang ang nagpa-courier? And how does COURIER COLLECT works? Salamat po sa mga replies!

I have a question nga pala is there anyone here that change their mailing address na padadalhan ng PPV? we change the mailing address sa office ng husband ko kasi most of the time e walang tao dun sa bahay namin..

Hi trxcis 1st & foremost congrats sa PPR kaso tayo magkabatch sa Medical . . .I'm truly happy that u finally got it.

I am under CIC also .  . I sent mine via the agency kc sa application natin sila yung official representative natin so I'm sure the V.O. are expecting to get our passports from them.

The good thing if via sa kanila . . .they filled-up the Appendix A for us already all we have to do is rechecked d data & affix signature at least may double checking pati sa pix tinitingnan din nala if it meet the required specifications. Sayang din kc if may konting mali which may caused to further delay which im sure we couldnt afford lalo na sa atin who waited for 6 mos. to get our PPRs.

Just make sure to ask for the DHL waybill no. so u can tracked when it was sent & delivered . . . a day after u give ur passport to the agency tawagan mo agad just to make sure na nasend na nila.

Im still in process. You're right. I have second thoughts. If it is worth waiting. The only answer to our what if questions is patience.

Pero di bale sa hinahaba-haba ng prosesyun sa simbahan din ang tuloy nyan haha at mapapakasalan nya tayong lahat.

Baka nangawit lang braso nila sa kaka stamped ng visa last week  . . .at nagkaundagaga din cguro sa buhos ng bagong padalang passports kc bumagyo ng PPR last week.

Let's keep praying pa rin for each other para nextweek  buhawi ng visas ang dadating . . . .
