then kung mangagaling pala kayo sa lrt quirino station, wag kayo sasakay sa pedicab. wew. haha.

I haven't attended PDOS yet but I've seen the building. I think pwede syang lakarin from Taft, however it would take maybe 20 minutes more or less. A bit like walking it from the RCBC Plaza in Buendia/Ayala to Makati Stock Exchange at Paseo de Roxas/Ayala or up to Makati Ave. It's on the left side of Quirino as you come from Taft; faces the start of Osmeña Highway or the big intersection/stoplights where cars from Taft-Quirino turn right to the highway. The building is the only tall one where it stands so it sort of sticks out as you approach it within visibility. I think parang green or dark orange building sya ('cause before I think it was like orange, then the last time I passed by the area, parang green na sya if I recall right... Others who've been there lately please correct if wrong.. hehe!). I've read in other forums that one can take a pedicab but they would charge you a lot, maybe 100 Php more or less. Or maybe if merong jeep at the LRT Quirino station going towards Paco (same direction as PDOS location) as it crosses Taft/Quirino intersection , you can take that one. badtzmaru/HelloKitty_Catnip |

Guys, ask ko lang.. my idea ba kayo how much ang bridging program for nurses sa BC and Ontario? may nagadvice kasi sa amin na medyo expensive bridging program compared to SEC assessment ng saskatchewan, manitoba and alberta... and ang bridging program daw ay classroom setup whie the sec is 4 months online and 2 months classroom teaching... Any advise guys... thanx...

Hi all! Share ko lang din ang landing experience naming tatlo (me, hubby and baby). We had a smooth customs and immigration processing from Manila to Toronto. Even with the stop over sa Hongkong (via Cathay Pacific), wala kaming naging problem. Sa hand carried bags namin, super excess na kami (7 kilos each adult lang ang allowed) but because we brought our baby's stroller (graco, yung heavy duty type), nakalusot ang excess na dala namin like can of formula milk, toys at iba pa - sa basket ng stroller namin nilagay. Hindi naman kami kinuwestyon ng customs. I also declared that we brought more than 10K US dollars. Wala namang problem. 130pm kami nagland sa Toronto pero around 2pm na kami nakalabas ng plane kasi sa dami nga ng abubot na dala namin, inayos pa namin. Paglabas ng plane, bago dumiretso sa immigration, inayos pa ulit namin ang mga dala namin. Mahirap talaga when traveling with a baby or toddler for that matter. Anywayze, pagdating namin sa immigration, kami na lang ang bagong dating. As in kami na lang ang ipa-process. Thank God because hindi na namin kailangang pumila. Super dali ng processing. Sign dito, sign doon. Tapos nung ok na, sa customs naman, ask lang kami kung ano ang laman ng 6 balikbayan boxes na dala namin (as in 6 boxes- we paid 200 US dollars sa Cathay Pacific for our excess baggages . Ang excess namin, 2 boxes of 32 kilos each). I just told the female customs officer that the boxes contained assorted clothes, used toys, baby clothes, formula milk, medicines etc). Ganun lang. Ok na raw so lumabas na kami. Tapos, may dinaanan din kaming booth kung saan binigyan kami ng free bag and inside were different brochures/ reading materials on immigration, settlement, child tax benefits etc.
hi! ilan taon na baby mo? mangagnganak kasi ako in 2mos.. iniisip namin kng madadala namin si baby agad or hindi muna.. |

Frens,kakarating ko lng galing lanao,umuwi ako sa probnza..kahapon lng ako dumting sito sa cbu tapos pdos kaagad kahapon.4h ang fee den dito sa cebu, 10am to 12nun..early lng dapat pumunta dun kasi may forms na e fill out pa. Mag ielts po ako ngayong june.grabe di ko na alam kung anong uunahin..hehe.baka july 2 kmi alis. April 11 po na stamp yung visa namin.. Congrts sa mga nag dm and may visa na.
