Manila V.O. - Waiting for the Passport with the Visa

Dear Friends,
I just want to share my great news, CEM just called to my wife in the Philippines this morning and informed her that they are sending our passports with PR visas within 24 to 48 hours thru DHL, Yeahhhhhhhh!!! I am expecting it to be sent here in the UAE thru our agent but according to CEM DHL is no longer accepting courier collect abroad, since my wife is in PH and as the principal applicant they will send it directly to her. Thank you Lord!!!

This forum really helps a lot especially when times na depressed ako and no idea what was happening to our passports why it was taking so long to return kaya nagpapasalamat ako sa inyong lahat lalo na kay heatspine who started this forum and to canimmigrant who made our timelines at least 2 weeks lang naman akong nilagpasan sa ecas pero tama ang mga forecast ninyo na visa na kaagad kaya never mind the ecas, hehe.

Kaya to our friends na naghihintay ng pp and visa dadating din talaga yan at sa mga lalagpasan ng ecas tulad mo kate_santos don't worry visa kaagad yan you'll be surprised when CEM will call you.

Now I need to prepare for my resignation. Always remember, "ALL GOOD THINGS WILL COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT". I will continue to pray for those who still waiting for their PP and Visas that they will get it soon. God bless us all.

Congrats! At least for people like me wha had their passport requests in 2010 but has submitted their passports in 2011, .... di ganon katagal ang gap sa timing compared to those who submitted their passports in the same year. Thanks for this information. at least, may gauge na ako and others.

this is a nice joyride. i imagined running this thread thinking na mag-run lang yun at the most 1 1/2 months. pero dahil special ang group of people dito ... inabot na tayo ng almost 5 months sa thread na ito the beauty of waiting is knowing the experiences of each other. kahit nde tayo magkakalilala in person. perhaps, this thread might even worth more..

Thanks heatspine, pipoy. It's exactly 4 months of waiting since CEM received our passports on the 19th of January till today 19th of May, talagang inaapura nila dahil sa malapit na ang expiry. If I'm not mistaken we have only 116 days left till visa expiry from today when CEM called up.

We have active appication in Australia and we have our medicals on the first week of May.  Since our passport were not presented during our medicals, Australian Embassy is now requesting a verified copy of our passports.  Will we pull out our passport from the Canadian Embassy our passport?

Well I guess nakatulong din siguro yung mga follow ups ng aking agent to CEM na kailangan ko ang passport dahil officially resigned na ako sa aking work and just waiting for my notice period to end. Thanks, I'm sure you'll all get your DMs if not your pp with visas very soon because God is so good!

You may request to withdraw your passport from CEM like what the other applicants on this thread did. Pero may caveat yan, since you are due your visa stamping na, what if ni-request back na ni CEM yung passport mo and nasa AUS Embassy pa ang PP mo. Kung madalian lang naman ang pagsoli sa iyo ng AUS embassy then siguro nde naman magiging issue ito.

hello guys late update, ka2receive ko lng ng visa sa CIC baguio kanina.  Last tuesday pa daw asa CIC Manila. Naconfine kc ako hays long story. Visa issued april 27 din sa kin. Thank you guys.. Congrats din sa mga nkareceive ng mga visas nila at sa mga ngDM last tues. Pacenxa na d ko na mgawang magbackread nahi2lo pa ako hehe.. Anyway God bless us! sna next week good  news uli.
