with ontario (CNO) they have the BET naman... this is the equivalent of the SEC of other provinces... the BET is a narrative of nursing experiences showing your entry-to-practice competencies... so it really depends on your credentials and the assessment process... sa CNO, pag walang MAN usually you will be required to submit a BET... ang SEC daw is an actual test (parang role play) and the next day is a pen and paper exam...

ndpadin, i've been meaning to ask, would you be coming back for your husband and kids or you intend to wait for them in Ontario na lang?... kasi initially that's what my husband and i wanted to do (i'll land first then them, after i get settled and prepare for a month)... but when a friend migrated ahead of us who did the same thing (landed ahead, left the husband and the kids to land after), she was told by the immigration officer at the port of entry that SHE will have to accompany her kids and husband when they enter canada as she is the principal applicant... so she has to go back here and "fetch" her husband and kids... so i'm wondering if this is what you plan to do?
 
and for those who attended the seminars, has anyone encountered this being discussed there?... for those who are scheduled for any of the seminars, can you please ask about this scenario?... please share whatever you learn... i don't think we will have time to attend any of the seminars kasi, except for the mandatory PDOS... thanks in advance...

Nope I will not be back to pick my husband and kids.  I've read in a separate thread that it is possible that dependents to land even without the Principal anymore as long as Principal will do the landing first.

Hi may I know what agency you had your reservation and did you pay anything? I didn't thought that reservation is possible..

Another week have past. hindi umuusad ang traffic, sobrang napakabagal ng movement sa mga september expiries.

Thanks for re-assuring me. Sobrang test of patience talaga pero at least magagamit natin ito as our weapon pag land natin sa Canada.  You know what kung bkit nka2pressure yung situation namin because we are stuck abroad with nothing to do plus coming next week is a holiday in Philippines so another week of delay. I'm jobless already and maintaining our expenses is really a tough job. It's very hard to predict the trend now which affect our major decision.

Oo nga. I emphatize with your predicament ndpadin. One bright side to look at is seeing that your status changed to DM after your inquiry to the CEM. It surely is a matter of time (and that is the latest siguro is next week sana) and you'll receive your passports and visa na. It's about time! para you can still have some moments to enjoy here in Pinas before you fly to Canada.

Yap its better to wait for your PP before tendering your resignation letter as long as you still have enough time to sort it out everything. Good luck and may you get your visa as soonest possible time.

      Nakareflect ba sa e-cas nio ung current mailing address before you got the PPR?
      Mine has been reflected just now, but wala pa ung "medical results received" sa statusko.
