thanks for that info sigfrid....this means we would end up with very tight timelines to workon. hopefully we get at least 2 months buffer to manage all the preparations.

Hi rich. Sigrid is right, visa validities are based on the earliest medical done or the earliest passport expiration of any family member if the passport will expire earlier than the 1year validity of the medical. They will treat you as a batch. Dont worry, the VO is considerate enough. You will have ample time to prepare. Just make sure to remind them if you still dont have your visas by july or august. I'm sure lahat naman tayo maraming natutunan along the way, and one way of learning is thru the forum. Ang daming information nating nakuha dito and I think we are way better than some immigration consultants (key: some). So, it's probably best to pay it forward to the others na nagsisimula pa lang. Maraming tanong na paano kung ganito? paano kung ganyan. Kaya i find it best to put a resource site, parang FAQ info site where all the learnings that I got from here will be posted.
