yup i already attended CIIP. It was very informative. i understand i have to be licensed first or at least already given an eligibility to sit CRNE before ako pwede mag work in the nursing profession. and i am considering applying for RPN instead especially if they will require me to study for a year or more. tagal na nun. mauubos lang pera ko sa pag-aaral and and sweldo ko dun lang din pupunta. this reminds me that i have to call CNO regarding that: kung pwede bang i-transfer ang application ko from RN to RPN after assessment. to think, almost 3 times higher ang fee nga RN assessment kesa RPN/LPN.

with regards to living with relatives, that's why i'm hesitant to move to N.S. kahit temporary lang. i really don't want to have any problems with relatives esp when we don't know each other. the fact na canadian pa ang husband nya, they wouldn't entirely understand the concept of us living with each other.. especially for a while.

i'm willing to get an apt kahit room lang i-rent ko while i try to look for a job. that is the purpose of our settlement funds di ba? i have already set it in mind na i would have to work with whatever job i can get... ma-food server ba kaya, cashier, sa coffee shop, baka nga pati dishwasher... whatever to support myself and not ending up in the streets. the question here that no one can answer is, kelan kaya tayo makakahanap ng trabaho so that we won't have to worry about running out of money especially with my case na wala akong kamag-anak na nasa Ontario.

inspite all these, i'm not panicking kahit lam kong nauubosan na ako ng time. May is coming fast. but i also know God is in control of everything.

In my case i already applied for eligibility in BC and CRNBC is requesting me to have a SEC assessment. Ngapply lng ako dun kc me kakilala lola ko dun sa Coquitlam which i havent really met. So prang pinakiusapn dn na dun ako ti2ra yun nga lng hesitant din ako magstay sa kanila since d ko cla kilala. My visa expiration is sept 11, 2011.. Kindly please add guys.. Thank you. Same situation i haven't received my visa yet. Nweiy, im willing to relocate din kung san favorable ang job.. hay d ko rin kc alam ga2wn ko..

hi baby_gurl. ok lang mag-rant ... mahirap naman kasi talaga ang mga decision na ganyan. with regards to work, i'm not in the field of nursing so hindi ko rin talaga alam how its done. i guess you've attended the CIIP na right? ito siguro ang ma-advise ko, if you're not familiar with the demographics of the nursing field ... perhaps the CIIP staff can help you with that. They have the statistics on which province offers the best chance for employment. Mayroon akong ganun kaso for my field and nde sa nursing kaya try to reach out to them. Check their site rin kasi may mga stats rin dun which might help you.

with regards to living with relatives, medyo averse ako dyan. Remember, may mga sarili rin silang pamilya and lalo na pag medyo nde kayo close, chances are medyo nde maganda ang turn out. I've known friends who have experienced this kaya on my part, I'm not taking that route. Mag-settle na lang ako on my own and parang extra na lang to know na may relatives pala ako dun - who can help out - on need.

kaya importante rin na may bala talaga bago sumugod sa giyera. kailangan may extra money talaga otherwise maiiyak na lang tayo lalo we are still on the adjustment stage. try to secure cash that will last you for months - paniguro lang ba. hope this helps.

pag nagpabook ata walang bayad, but if u rebook it for some reason, some agencies like horizon parang may charge na $50.

so what I did, reserve lng muna (with different agencies to compare rates, and in our case, para di makulitan kasi parang hanggang alang katapusan reservation lng kasi wla pa ang visa   , di mabayaran ang tiket kasi pag wla visas

no charge pag reserve lng, but of course, u will be given a deadline to avail of the rate. pag di kinaya, bigay nila ang slot sa iba.

updated bcd0819 ang bilis mo na receive ang visas nyo... duda ko yung iba hindi lang na update ang ECAS last week kaya sila gade and deverdad hindi lang siguro na update din this week... i can't imagine how many hundreds of DMs the VO need to update each week kaya siguro minsan andyan na visa IN PROCESS pa din sya sa ECAS... and yes please inform us naman bcd0819 when your visa was stamped so we can have a timeline... thanks!

hi splurge. so you decided to go to BC coz someone invited you there? at least u have someone to take care of you sa province na nag register ka. you can always move out when you can afford to. look at the bright side, matutulongan ka nila with job hunting. the sooner u get a job, d sooner u can live on ur own and not worry bout conflicts diba?

so sa BC ba ang gusto mong mag settle for good? kasi pareho tayo, yung cousin ko nag invite sakin na ok daw dun kuna ako sa Kanila and look for a job there (nova scotia), but gusto ko Ksi talaga sa Toronto, or at least within Ontario para mas malapit sa u.s. where most of my relatives are, and also mas maraming opportunities compared to settling in nova scotia.

yun lang, I don't know how my circumstances would be if I go to Ontario on my own. parang adventure. scary and risky.
