Dalawa kc kami ng misis ko na aalis on July 15 bound to Vancouver.  Dun sa COPR ko, full name ng wife ko yung nakalagay sa Name of accompanying family member (wife ko kc ang principal applicant), then dun sa COPR ng wife ko, nakalagay lang is First and Middle Name ko as Name of accompanying family member.  Wala bang magiging problem dun pagdating sa IO?

you don't have to worry. yan talaga ang nakalagay sa COPR. First and middle names ng dependents sa COPR ng principal applicant. Then, Full name ng principal applicant sa COPR ng dependents.

We found an apartment in milepost place, toronto east. Kilala ng friend ko angsuperintendent ng building who's black and married to a pinay. Yung friend ko naman ang guarantor namin. Ganun daw kasi dito. Pag new immigrant, para di magcredit check sa atin, yung guarantor ang ikecredit check. We need a single female or couple with no kids. 450 dollars. By the time youre here, siguro naayos na namin ang apartment. 50 percent off daw sa ikea on friday. Hays! Magastos!

a couple here na friend ng parents ko is d one taking care of me, kinuha nila ako sa airport, ang lamig! parang hindi summer feeling ko pro mga kasabayan ko ay nka slivles! hahahaha nag dinner kami sa haus nila den mga 12mn na ako nahatid sa apartment wer i am to stay, i am renting one of their apartments, me my brother and his wife wil b sharing it temporarily, 850dollars for the 3 of us, including water and elec bill, medjo mahal? di ko alam, bsta may matitirhan.. nasa scarborough ako, from 2am june 18 na saturday, hanggang 8am, tulog ako! hahahaha akala ko di ako maka tulog, ayun! sleeeepppppp, by 8am nag ayus na ako nang apartment, nag prepare kasi dey wil pick me up, dat day i bought a prepais sim lang muna, di pa pwede postpaid kasi la pa akong SIN, nag picnic din nun mga filipinos sa park, ang dami! sunday, church and i bought a laptop kasi job searching kaagad iniisip ko, and d navigation, i bought lil groceries din kasi ako lang naman nd usually dun ako sa kanila kumakain, monday, i opend a bank account and sina uli ko na sa parents ko POF ko hahahaah, i bought it cash pala, i got my SIN din on monday, and sa a.m, i went to a public library, ang lapit lang kasi, got a library card and wifi area sya,pumunta dn kami downtown, wow! parang makati time 1million hahahaah, dey showed me how to ride trains and buses to and from my apartment, tuesday, i went to a employment center, nag pa register, they gave me an apointment for an employment adviser, libre dun print, photocopy, fax, telephone use, internet, marami narin ako na pasahan ng resume, awaiting results, and nag pa assess na rin kasi ako cno so baka mg take rn exam na god willing so i specifically told them part time jobs lang kasi i hav to review, tuesday night din i had my own internet na didto apartment, half kami nung nasa taas, today, bumalik ako employment center, nag print ng maraming resume i got free newspapers also sa waiting sheds nila or subways, dami nga, classified ads, so nag tawag ako konti im keeping myself busy lang para hindi masyadong ma miss ang pinas Godbless sa lahat, sana kita kits, PM if u nid anything, ask watever! hello... i just want to share how GOD has been so good during this whole landing experience of mine.. its been awhile, i miss this forum and i cant do backread coz ang dami nah! so here goes, hope this can help... left  cdo june 13 a.m.. went to cfo pdos seminar june 14, arrived there 5.45am, was 5th in the line, i stayed in makati, early lang ako umalis, nag taxi, 15 minutes lang. line po sa labas ng building, tapos 6.30am pinapasok na po kami, line ulit sa loob, 7.30 nag open na verification and cashier, after paying, hintay lang til 9am, then nag announce na sila to go up the seminar room. seminar was great, many information. ended up 12.05pm. june 15 attended the coa, 8am nag start, ended around 5pm, with an hour lunch break, seminar still great, helped a lot too.june 17, my flight manila to hongkong was scheduled 11am, so had to be there 3-4hours before, arrived at naia terminal 1, lined up sa cathay pacific area, was 5th in the line again checking in was fast if you are early but if quite late, dami nang tao, had with me- 24kg baggage- 17 kg baggage- 1 less than 7 kg carry on- 1 small sling bag. i checked in the 2 luggages, i thought i was paying excess because its suppose to be 2 pieces 23kg each luggages and 1 carry on less than 7kg, but since excess lang nang 1 kg, they considered it, so no excess! thank you Lord, thanks cathay!11am to 1.25pm i think, flight to hongkong, it was great, cathay pacific food was great inside HK airport, you just have to be very attentive to signs and announcements, my next flight is still with cathay scheduled at 5.05pm, there are big screens with airline tranfers info and there you will find what gate will your next flight be, in my case its gate 23, met a father with 2 kids who is bound for toronto also so may nakasama ako, HK airport is with free internet services, so, FB!!!!! hehehehe na delayd po flght ko. Cathay gave us snacks sa airport.  6:10 pm hk to Toronto na, arrived 9:30 pm. Mga 14 hours plus yun. It was smooth, turbulences were short lang, fud was great! Mga 10pm na naka baba sa plane, first line- Canadian border services, he asked lang if i have anything fresh with me or bird's nest, siyempre wla naman, he saw my copr, sabi niya- “oh gud that u told me ur a 1st time imigrnt coz if u ddnt, maybe i will stamp ur passport den ul go bak to d phils.”- dpat kasi immigration officer daw mag stamp. After sa kanya, immigration office na, he asked me where ako mag stay, he asked for d address and number, nd how much mney i brought, ako lang mag isa suppose to be 11k cad plus, i brought 8400 lang, di na niya tinignan, nagtanong lang sya if i have Canadian dollars, i sed, 560cad lang and d rest usd na, sabi niya gud! He let me sign and yun tapos na- welcum to Canada! After nun baggage na, punta ako sa cart, la ako coins eh nid ng 2 dollars coins, yung in chrge pinapalitan niya bills to coins, i got a cart, and went to my bags, ayun, konti nalang natira, nasa floor na hahahah ro my nag babantay, i got it and was so ready na for baggage check, ayun, wla nang check, i was directed to exit na, may imm.officer dun, she asked if i hav guds to follow, i sed no, she asked me to give her my declaration card- u fill it up sa plane, i gave it to her, then she sed welcum to Canada! Madali lang less dan 30mins ako  glory to god...

regarding POF, hndi po ako masyado kabisado sa may kasama, i traveled alone, and personal decision ko yung di magdala ng more dan ten thousand, so i wont hav to declare, panay no lang anser ko dun sa declaration card my brother and wife wil be landing july, dey decided to bring 9thou lang, ayaw din kasi mag declare2x... but abwt details, sori but d ako masyado kabisado tc!

   @  kate-- hi...my husband and i went there last saturday....ang winter jacket worth 1800 pag magpapasadya ka (pero pde mo twran yata ng 1600 papayag nmn ung owner), thermal wears up and down n garment will cost you 850 (set n yun), good buy din kasi dhil mismong sukat mo.  s marks kasi upper plang 1200 n pero ciempre iba nmn ang quality although ang sabi nmn kasi ng iba nating kabayan nasa layering of clothes tlg ang kelangan pag super ginaw na sa canada...boots nila 2500 to 3000 yun ng lang mejo ndi ako bilib s swelas... btw sis bka may alam ka n nbibilihan ng OPAQUE TIGHTS papost na lang and how much. tnx
