For those waiting. Good news will flow this tuesday just like what happened 2 weeks ago! Be ready! For those preparing. I thought of bringing some appliances and things in the house sana para nde na bumili dun. Pero, sa dulo I decided to dispose the asset na lang and just bring cash. Clothing and Garments are essential kaya yun na lang ang dadalhin namin. This will make the transition better for us at walang unnecessary baggages. You can google big c cargo, they ship canada to philippines and vice versa. They charge by box since it's by sea but it is 6 weeks transit time. Medyo hirap siguro magship ng tv coz it's fragile, there's always a risk of damage. Anyway, if you want brand new here dami naman palaging sale dito, bawat holiday meron... They find all sorts of reasons to have a sale like this father's day... |

hi abilex! i have 3 alisbayan boxes and 1 suitcase. bulky kasi suitcase so i decided to use boxes, pwede lng i-fold pag di na gamitin. i bought balikbayan box cover na rin para di mahirap buhatin ang box. |

hi! breana/gandasia........the one who bring the 20 ft. container here is the CAN-SHIP Ineternational Forwarders, but it was sponsored by my company as per our agreement.....it takes 24 days before it arrived here in Winnipeg but I try to coordinate with FED-EX regarding the tracking purposes....it's quite expensive if you will shoulder it by yourself as I saw in the shipping documents when it arrived here....my suggestions is make the most of the allowable weight you can bring (you are allowed for a handcarry of 7 kilos; and additional laptop and documents bags per person as long not exceeding 7 kilos each; two-23 kilos of check-in bags) here when you are migrating, so you will not miss a thing but be focus on the clothes, if not make sure at least 90% you are bringing is clothing, it's quite expensive here...especially the signature items......the advantage for the container is almost everything you think, can be bring here...but honestly we didn't, its not enough.....the appliances is quite affordable as long you buy in the times when their is SALE....i sell my LCD TV 43' and bought a new one LED TV 60' with an additional of only 100 bucks! congratulations to all the incoming residents and enjoy the most while you are in the Philippines before you go here...... |
