Sino po ba ang bound to Calgary dito hmmm siguro sa may Southwest area... meron po ba kayo alam na cheap apartments n allowed ang under 18? kasi mostly sa ads sa net di pwede ang bata not unless uupa ng more than 1,500... very expensive... hehehe congrats po sa may visa na marv000 blow out na !!!

hello big mike congrats po!! hmmm advise lang po ah ... may agent ka po ba? kasi kami may agent e... bale 2x na binalik ng agent namin yung pictures kasi daw di white ang background... pero yung gumawa ng pic eh white background talaga ang process... only to find out na medyo luma na ata yung photo paper nila so yun naghanap kami ibang foto center... simple prob lang yun pero dapat check n kagad para wlang delays strict daw sa embassy kasi e... hehe God bless

Wala po ako agent. Sariling sikap lang hehe nagtitipid. Saang photo center yan? Kami kasi sa Greenbelt 1 na Kodak nagpapakuha so far ok naman sa initial application namin. Ahh dirty white ba ung background nyo? hehe sige salamat sa abiso.

Hello annegel,finally nakhabol din ako sa timeline, got our PPR yesterday. npalpak pa ung pinapick up nmin na appendix A kc nkalimutan i-attach ung print out ng email ng CEM, anyways, pang how many days mo ng naghihintay ng PP with Visa? Im really not sure, if my husband still need to take PDOS? nag pdos na ba kyo?and nkapag pa book na ba kyo ng ticket?approximately how much kaya for an immigrant rate?. Thank you so much po

hi everyone! i have a dilemma now which i hope you can be of help. we are about to send our passport for visa stamping to the Canadian embassy in Manila. i am the principal applicant but my passport, which i used for my application, is still in my maiden name but my marital status is already married in my application. i just used my maiden name for the application because that is what was in my passport at the time i applied. my Philippine passport will expire exactly 6 months from the time of our due landing in Canada.

my question is: should i renew my passport here in Manila and have it changed to my married name already before submitting it to the embassy or should i wait for the visa first and then have my passport renewed still in Manila? will they consider it a discrepancy if the visa issued is in my maiden name but my new passport is in my married name? will i be questioned for that upon arrival? the critical issue with this option of renewing my passport first and changing to my married name is that issuance of a new passport do take some time here in the Philippines and the embassy has given me only 45 days to submit my passport for visa stamping.

another option for me is to just renew my passport in the philippine embassy in toronto. however, since my PR card and visa is still in my maiden name will i have problems transacting (such as finding work, buying a house, opening a bank account, applying for a credit card, applying for the canadian medical exam, enrolling my child in school, buying a car) in canada?

for those who are in Canada already or those who are almost leaving for Canada (specifically Ontario province) did you get a health insurance to cover for your first 3 months of stay given that you can only apply for the OHIP (ontario health insurance) after 3 months of stay in ONtario? if kumuha kayo, anong insurance provider and how much yung premium? i'll be bringing along my 2 year old son and i would really want him to have an insurance cause baka magkasakit sya biglang because of environmental adjustments and for sure mahal ang health services doon if walang insurance.

also, who have tried having some of their things shipped to Canada para masama sa goods to follow na nontaxable? anong cargo forwarder? how much is the cost and may maximum weight ba? ilang weeks or months before dumating sa Canada?

anong health insurance yan? dito sa philippines mo kinuha or when u went to canada na? i was looking online at this one webiste (manulife) and for a family of 3 with no pre-existing conditions for 3 months i will pay P20,000. mukhang mas mura yung sayo. please share the insurance's details please. thanks
