Congratulation! Ang bilis...grabe. Magkasunod tayo ng timeline but my passport reached Manila on the 20th kasi nga I'm here in US kaya medyo matagal ang transit but it's good to hear talaga your good news. I am following your progress so hopefully kasing bilis mo rin ako. I am bound to Calgary, I have a friend there who works in an oil company at sabi niya madami talagang good opportunity doon. I am after the availability of jobs kaya Calgary ang napili ko. I am bound to Vancouver originally coz all my relatives are based there but sudden change of heart. Goodluck everyone.

annegel, noong january 11 ko po sinubmit ung mga passport namin.. oo nga eh, ang bilis... ikaw PPR ka na ba.. sana soon na din, kasi halos sabay lang tayo.

Thats Good! wala pa, di ko pa hawak si ang Visa ko.. pero nararamdaman ko on the way na sya...  hehehe yung visa mo siguro... inii-stamp na sa passport mo...  yung COA na seminar sobrang helpful, sa Citibank tower un sa makati.. if you'll notice, sa letter ng Medical Request mo, kasama yung fliers ng COA at CIIP. nandoon ung instructions on how to register, tapos sila magbibigay ng date ng seminar mo. attend na! |

congrats sa mga nag dm na..!!!! sana kami naman na...
But, if ur driving here po, its better u get Certificate ng driver's license niyo from LTO then ipa authenticate sa DFA... thats very important po,PHP 100.00 lang un... kc in other provinces & cities pampabilis daw po iyon para makakuha ng license..& khit saang part daw ng canada that is very helpful para kpag kumuha kayo ng sarili niyong car is mas mababa ang insurance na babayaran niyo.. sometimes daw po kc ang insurance is mas mahal pa sa mismong car...sometimes $100+ /monthly daw ang ibinaba ng insurance, kc in that certificate, they'll see how long uve been driving & kung may mga cases kayo/ accidents... so if pag makita nila na wala naman, they will give u mababang insurance..

Kaya lang paano kung ngayon pa lang mag aral ng driving tapos let's say kakakuha pa lang ng LTO license, better pa rin ba na kumuha nung certificate considering na walang makikitang driving history sa akin dahil bago pa nga lang? April kasi target ko na alis
ohhh...dont know... cant answer that... but good thing lang is u get ur drivers license here... para di ka na mag driving school doon... i studied tru socialite... sila din nag assist ng aking license non pro.. di na ako nag actual driving & seminar, written exams na lang...n half day kuha mo na license mo. |

Kakumpitensya ba nung A1 driving school yan? i think 5 hrs lang kinuha ko... php2300 total.. nkalimutan ko how much ung bayad sa knila for the assistance ng pagkuha license...but mura lang..wala na pating pila pila don.. VIP ka.. hihi..oh... u need din muna students permit while studying with them. after a month ng student permit mo saka ka pa lang makakakuha ng non pro. |

@ annegel...may yellow brochure na kasama an medical request..then nakaindicate dun on how to register..afterwards they will e-mail you a couple of days after for the schedule..Attend COA its very informative..all about haw to start in Canada =) I just finished attending the CIIP..iba talaga ang Filipino speakers sa Canadians (very spontaneous kasi mga Canadians)...its very helpful kasi they focus on How to gain employment there..mga in - demand jobs sa mga provinces para in case you have a specific place in mind tapos walang work they you might consider transferring..dahil nga sa "we should go where the Jobs are".. the first day will last the whole afternoon..small group kaya mga 3 - 4pm tapos na..then the next day will last mga 2 hours lang tpos they will do your own action plan and referrals para when we arrive there someone knows na our credentials..I just realized na sobra palang valued ng Canada ang mga tao nila..they even spend funds just to have employment counselors to help match the skills of their people, be settled and everything that will make it easier to adapt..I hope our government do those things as well..and I hope Filipinos will also value helping other people to succeed..tangalin na yung Crab Mentality...hehehe..Im so inspired to do Mentorship..I'm actually starting it by helping my colleagues on how to apply to Canada without the help of agencies...and I just feel very fulfilled... |
