I like this thread. maraming nag-u-uplift ng spirit d2. to faithfully hopefully, don't lose hope. parehas tayong november din nagpa-medical. we still have 6 months to wait for our visas. mabilis lang yang six months. buti nga mostly d2 sa thread na'to nurse ang profession e. parehas nasa MI1 at MI2 ang occupation ninyo.my profession is accountant, wala n sa MI2. preggy pa ako at november din ang due date ko.i'm hopeful n makakapag-land kami at sa canada na ako manganganak. Sabi sa seminar namin sa ciip, alberta and manitoba ang provinces na sakop ng ng health insurance upon landing, we plan to land in alberta..sana nga ganon ang case.. mahal manganak sa canada pag walang health insurance, pag d2 naman ako sa pinas nanganak, aasikasuhin ko pa docs. ng newborn ko, dagdag proof of funds at repeat medicals n naman kmi whole family kung di pa kami mka-land ng november. ayoko namang saktong due date kmi bumiyahe.. o di ba?wala pang PPR, pag-biyahe n agad iniisip ko.. ang hirap nga ng situation namin kc may 2 kids n rin ako tapos wala pa kaming relatives sa canada pero go go lang kami..

Post June 26 really moves faster than any other queue. Here's a site on Canada Immigration that might help you keep busy. I find this site good since there are information on settling, the different provinces and other relative information that would help me before I land.

hi mommyquinz. i think i saw you on the other forum before. regarding your case, baka may exception ka. there are instances wherein the vo issues pulls out the application from the queue and process it right away. i've seen this kasi kami yung mga nag-aantay ng pp. there was one applicant na pregnant and she sent an email to the VO. ayun, na-expedite ang releasing. there was another one naman na mag-expire na ang contract overseas and need her passport back. sumulat din sya and instead na passport lang ... may kasama ng visa.

hi forum mates got this blog from gateway to canada.. atleast other people also find it ILLOGICAL...
I can understand why many were disappointed. The visa office's explanation actually doesn't make sense. It's illogical.
Here's a part of the visa office's explanation: CIC's goal is to make the immigration system more responsive to labour market needs. By giving priority to FSW applications received on or after June 26, 2010, CIC is responding to the most urgent labour market needs first.
The thing is nurses, physicians, etc are included in both Ministerial Instructions. Now, are nurses filed under Ministerial Instruction 1 (MI-1) got different skills from nurses filed under Ministerial Instruction 2 (MI-2). Who is to tell that nurses under MI-2 would best respond to labor market needs than nurses MI-1? Oh, right, the Immigration Minister.
To come up with a decision is one thing. That is understandable considering the volume of applications the visa office is processing. Go ahead and prioritize those that are really needed in Canada. They don't have medical examination that may expire anyway.
But for Pete's sake, why delay those who have already done the medical exam and have submitted their passports for visa stamping? Why do they have to wait for more than 6 months while some applicants got theirs in less than 2 months after submission of passports?
It isn't just about volume, I guess. Something is really wrong.
(this is a response to several questions of applicants under MI 1 by a consultant in CIC)
If medical expires, you will be required to undergo another exam. but they may not let that happen. Those who haven't received the medical instruction yet are the ones who may have a longer processing period.
Just yesterday, we received 25 visas. Some of them submitted passports for visa stamping as early as October 2010.

i just want to say my farewell... I give up... My 1st application is a failure and so this one...
Thank you sa lahat ng nagbigay ng lakas ng loob sa akin for the past 6months...but this time is hardest time of my life..i give up my canadian dream...wishing you all the best guys...
I also ask for my sister's apology for i am a failure...that she can go home anytime now,for i am giving up canada...di cia umuuwi kc gusto niya pag dumating ako doon andun cia,to help me find jobs and other financial matters..maybe im not that lucky...i can't help but cry..kc andaming nagsacrifice for this application..for what?...for nothing..im really hurting...and if God is listening right now, have mercy to people who are on this forum...applicants of pre june.....please don't let them, be on the edge of the cliff.. Where everything seems hopeless...kgya ng nangyayari sa akin... Slmat po.
Good bye guys and all i can say is thank you to all who gave their time and support...
Faithfully hopeful, wag ka sana mag-give up. Hindi pa tapos ang laban. Malayo pa nga tayo finish line o. Matagal pa expiry ng medical natin. And to be honest, if it's any consolation, perhaps, may mga tao dito who have experienced far worse situations and they still believe and are still optimistic. (like me, for instance, but that's another (sob) story hehe Don't lose hope and keep the faith. Live up to your name!! Siguro, ang magandang maiisukli mo sa mga taong tumulong at nagsacrifice para sa pangarap mong ito is to have courage . Be positive. May maganda ring pupuntahan ang lahat ng sakit at paghihintay na to. How I wish the VO's could read and understand this thread and where we are coming from. The people here are inspiring. Mabubuting tao. and we definitely deserve that visa and a better life in Canada, not only to reward us for all the hard work and patience but also for having kind and generous hearts which Canada will certainly be fortunate to welcome and embrace. Kahit di ko kayo personal na kilala, natutuwa ako sa inyo:) Sobra!! hehe. I am one with you in praying that we finally realize this dream, and soon, at that. Take heart faithfully fopeful

Hi! Ang alam ko po kasi, sa plane, may certain number of weeks sa pregnancy para iallow magfly.. But I don't know how far along you are to be able to board a plane. Maganda po ask niyo airlines para long before you reach that time in your pregnancy, nakapagfollow up na kayo sa CEM and ask about your situation. Baka sakali, maexpedite.

A friend who has got a friend in the Canadian Embassy said they are really inundated right now with tourist visa requests because of the summer vacation. So they are focusing on that (revenue generating din yon) and maybe that is the main reason why they are not releasing the passport requests. Puwede rin na they are waiting for the new visas to come in - instead nga naman of requesting for our passport but not giving it to us for 6 months or more, they are taking the more reasonable route of just waiting for the visas and then they will ask us for our passport once the visas are available. Well, sabi nga, in His time. Good luck, everyone!

This month is my 7th month from the month we had our medical. (October 11, 2010) Let's just cross our fingers and the much awaited visas are on our way. In God's time.

@ heatspine, sa p2c din ako.thanks for your input, nag-email na ako noong naka-six months from the time na-receive ko yung medical request namin pero di ko pa sinabi na pregnant ako. as usual na reply na na-receive ko na on queue for review pa raw papers namin. balak ko sa august pag wala pa rin akong passport request, pupuntahan ko n talaga yung cem at sasabihin ko yung case ko. siguro naman tama lang yung time na yon kc 3 months n lang mage-expire na meds. namin non at 6 months n tiyan ko non.
