hi lanitroz,

you may use the address indicated in the RPRF request letter they sent to you the one with the visa section indicated.  do not use the address with the PO box since you'll be using courier.  the PO box will only be used if you opt to send your payment thru regular mail.  the courier won't deliver your docs if you use the PO box address.  hope this helps.

Hello guys!

How would we know if CEM received our medical results and RPRF? I know that e-cas updates our status a bit late.

Thanks!

hi jandox,

you may ask the clinic where you had your medical exam & asked them the tracking number or when they send your medical result.  in this way you can track it or at least have an idea when did CEM received your medical.  as for RPRF you may also try to inquire from your bank if the check has been negotiated or cleared already.  banks have their own way of checking the checks.  cheers Cheesy

Hi, as for the med result, if they send it to CEM, does it mean we already pass the medical exam or will they still recheck it or meaning they still have another doctor to reassess the results? BeCause I heard it to somebody. Pls correct me if Im wrong. Ty..

in my opinion, if they already sent your medical resutls to CEM I believe your results are already okay as far as your DMP is concern.  i've read in other threads that the clinic will contact you if there are any test that need to be done for further verifications.  but if the clinic didn't contact you within the period which they specified then perhaps your results are okay.

yes it is true it will still be assessed by the Canadian Medical Officer (CMO) in the CEM based on the results submitted by your DMP & from that it will be the CMO who will give recommendation to the visa officer that your medical results have passed & eligible for visa issuance.

I have a question. Hope you can answer it.

My passport was accidentally folded on the laminated page. And was not damaged or torn, but there is the folded marking..

hi ronii,

i am not sure of the implication having a folded laminated page on your passport....in my opinion, if you are in a hurry to get your visa you can take the risk of submitting your passport...anyways, if your passport is not acceptable then it will be returned to and you can renew your passport by then....i dont think naman siguro na maging ground for denial of visa ang pag submit ng folded laminated page...but if you are not in a hurry to go to canada , you can renew first your passport but you have to inform canada embassy by sending letter to them and present your DFA receipt.....in my case, i havent sent our passports yet to CEM though we received PPR last Aug 4, 2011 coz i renewed my passport to reflect my married name....hope this helps
