MANILA V.O. ~~ done with MEDICALS and waiting for PPR (passport request)

its really difficult....

me and my wife are really thinking hard now on the timing when we will be filing our resignations from our respective companies. hirap kasi maipit sa last minute. turn over and all considered....plus the administrative work of disposing our stuff and doing all the paperworks.

but ultimately, we plan to file once we receive the visa.

anyone here in the same situation? kindly share your thoughts? is it wise to file resignation once we receive the passport request?

hey rich, how are you? thats my plan. But inunti unti na din namin yung pag dispose ng stuff. The team knows my plans, so its easier for me to resign. God Bless

For me, I will resign the day or the next day I get my visa ( me nakaready na  ) mahirap ding magresign agad baka matagalan pa... and it is harder to wait pag walang work...baka lalo akong mainip at mapraning at least nadadivert attention ko when I'm working.  

I agree as well... kaso baka sobrang dikit ang visa issuance to the expiry of our medicals.... hirap din ng rush. Pero in our case tingin ko no choice but to wait for the visa. salamat sa mga inputs

good for you JigJig.....in our case kasi di pa requested ang passport namin...sa case mo pagbalik sa yo e medyo sure ka na visa na. sa amin mas alanganin pa. tapos isa pa consideration na tingnan namin ngayon e kelangan namin apply ng US visa yung bunso. E sa haba ng pila sa US embassy for VISA issuance baka mag-pangabot. yun ang iniisip ko ngayon kaya gusto ko na makuha US visa si bunso para in case kelangan tawid sa US madali.

nga pala...once we arrive in Canada ba, do we need to be physically present talaga lahat dun to receive the PR? Kasi ang understanding o e dapat lang andun ang isa para i-receive yung mga PR dun sa Canadian address. Kasi plan ng wife ko and kids to go to the US muna and wait it out there with our auntie hanggang ma-establish ko sarili ko at makakita ng work, place to stay, etc. para when they move in with me e settled na lahat. Will they be allowed to exit Canada without the PR? Pano ang balik nila sa Canada? Tama ba na I  just need to send them to the US their papers?

i started my application last year march.

actually my initial application was 2008, i have withdrawn it because the embassy advise me so...to be under the new minitral instruction.. 6-12 processing months..
but im losing hope... 1 year has passed again and still..here i am waiting...

Regarding sa PR, nabasa ko lang dito is ipapadala yan sa mail. I dont think you have to be physically present to receive it. But what I know is that the principal should land first..

malapit sya sa greenbelt 1. what you could do is park sa greenbelt 1 tapos lakarin nyo na lang. mas madali makita pag ganun.

hi gandasia good morning, ask lang ko talagang tatawagan ka ng CEM for verification b4 they send you a message regarding a PPR?.. what if your cellphone number is lost? they should continue sent an email to you without informing for further verification to the concern? tnx..

well... its been more than 3 months since I passed the passports. Still patiently waiting. Trend is they release the visa 5 months prior to expiry of visa. I hope we get ours soon. 5 months namin sa May. Kayo ano balita?

Hi Everyone,

I'm happy to see this forum discussing the predicament regarding the issuance of the PPR and later on the VISA CANADA.

As for me, we applied as family and submitted our initial document in Dec, 2009.  We had our medical last Oct, 11, 2010 and submitted the results in Nov. 11, 2010.  A month after, since my husband and my 2 children need to have another x-ray.  Since then, we started waiting for the PPR.

We are very anxious then, but since I found this forum, I was given hope that Im not alone.

hi jig...in that case around june kami....so far ala pa balita. but we are slowly selling our stuff. hope we could settle all by June.
