Manila Visa Office who sent their full docs on January 2011

Hi all applicants who sent their full docs in January 2011!

I have heard an alarming news about Minister Jason Kenny reducing the issuance of Visa by year 2011 by 20% on our category (FSW2). This is the reason why I thought of coming up with these thread. Our timeline will have the most effect on this move if ever. Having the same VO will more or less give us the idea on the normal waiting time or if there will be an increase of incidence of refusal due to this said Immigration plan.

My details are as follows:

Hope you dont mind me asking if applicants need to wait for an advice from the embassy b4 forwarding the full application,sorry i ask this because under the old rule the e-mail will always advice you to forward your full application within 120 days but this time it will just say :your file will be forwarded to your visa office.Just to clarify lang.

Hi Misty! If you are a post June 26 applicant I recommend that you join the thread for such as I am not familiar with the new Ministerial Instruction. Sorry

Hi, mine was sent last Feb 14, but I'm a May 2010 applicant. Long way to go huh. did you apply alone or nag consultant agency ka or sumthing?

Funny! Kat when you send your full docs I received my 2nd AOR, I too belong to May applicants and I do have an agent. Yeah .. long way to go Kat... pareho tayo, so we will be needing tons of patience from here. Let's stay positive, all the best!

Yes, I did. January 31st to be exact.

Although this thread is presumably open only for Manila VO applicants, I just wanted to join so I can keep track of some of the people who also sent their full documents on January 2011.

Oh alright, i didn't notice your details below your message, so you did send you full docs last Feb 1. So tell me, normally, how long does it take for  your VO to  issue 2nd AOR? For manila, based on the current status they issue after 2 - 3 weeks, mine took 3.

I sent the package via Fedex on January 31, 2011 and according to its tracking number, it was received by Buffalo on February 1, 2011. I actually don't know how long it will take them to issue the second AOR. But I'm sure it will take longer than 2 - 3 weeks. At least you already got yours. Since the beginning, Manila VO has been moving faster compared to Buffalo VO.

Fortunately, that's a fact upp. I have read a lot of complains with regards to your VO about being slow. It's so easy to tell people that they should be patient because I too feel the same sometimes. But we need to live with it... this is a waiting game

I guess all we can do right now is just wait and pray for the best.

hi!!wanna join this forum...sent my dox to sydney may2010...received my 1st AOR mid Oct....my dox was received by v.o jan.24...got my 2nd AOR February 11,2011...Good Luck to us!!!God bless everyone!!!!
