good day!! ask ko lang po my sister in law sponsored her mom, dad and her sister. nag file po sya nung 2008 pa and recently pinagsubmit po ng additional documents yung parents nya. so nung feb. 2012 nasubmit na sa Mississauga ilang months po ang hihintayin at ano po ang dadating ng letter sa kanila. thanks for the help.......

sa local visa office pa po kasi yung papers namin na process unlike the new processs na na sa cpc mississauga.. don't have idea how it goes there.

Mr. noelcezh.. after they submitted the updated info to CPC-Mississauga, just wait for a couple of weeks then they will send the result of the sponsorship. If positive.. It will give you the instructions before submiting the papers in CIC-Manila and what to expect after. Inform his/her family in the Philippines to gather all documents, like NBI, birth certificate from NSO, baptismal, marriage Cert for the parents and Cenomar for dependant over 18 yrs old, Voter's ID, Diploma if they finished only elementary or HighSchool or College.

hi guys! nakareciv kami ng letter nung apr 24, for med request at addt'l docs plus passport.. nakalagay dun isend within 45 days from the date nung letter w/c is apr 10.. yung father ko mkakuha p ng PCC after 20 days.. magalanganin kami sa araw..  nasusunod kaya yung 45 days n un?.. by the way ung sa medical w/in 60 days pa.. so nagaalangan lng kmi dun sa 45 days..thanks!

Tell your family to go ahead for Medical while awaiting for NBI. It takes about 3 to 4 weeks bago nila e-submit and medical result sa embassy. You can submit the passport and other docs on or before 45 days then explained to them his NBI to follow once it release, sabihin mo din kung anong date nag-pa medical and parents mo. I would recommend NHSI for medical, dont go to St. Lukes.. mahigpit sila sa mga parents. I have 2 friends who sponsored their parents and both of them had a medical in St lukes. The first one had medical on October 2011 till now di pa rin tapos ang medical, the other one had medical on Dec 2011 ganun din hanggang ngayon di pa rin tapos dahil andaming pina-te-test. My mom had medical done in NHSI on Feb 6 and redo-xray on Feb 14, then she got her visa on April 19. Another tips, if you pay your RPRF you have to inform CPC-Mississauga to validate the payment and tell them to notify the embassy in manila.
 Tell your parents to do a water theraphy for a week and drink milk everyday before medical

if you are the sponsor sir sa letter po yata ninyo 45 days to comply, but what was written on your parents letter is 60 days:) Hindi po ba from date of receipt yung counting?

If you are somewhere in the Visayas / Mindanao region sir, best to go to Dr. Albert Santos (IM-pulmonary) / Dr. Maureen Santos (Cardio) they're a couple. DMP in Cebu Doctors. They run a 2-day exam. 1st day for lab tests, 2nd day for physical test w/ ur results.... They forward the results within 2 to 3 days clinic days to CEM if you don't need additional tests.

Actually, the nurses do preliminary medical check(history), if they ask you about your history, and you have some, they normally do the addiotional test ahead so when you have the Physical Exam w/ Dr. Santos the next day, your tests are complete except if needed na ang specialists (other than (Pulmoary & Cardiovascular0, they're Both IM Cardio & Pulmonary, so it's quite easier and it's in their field won't take long normally.

Hello All,
I have asked helped from our Members of Parliament to make an inquiry regarding our apllications and got a call from them that everything is already received (Passports, Updated Forms, Medical Results and RPRF Payment etc.) CIC-Manila is doing Background Check and our MP said that this is the last step before issuing Visa's.

Does anybody know how will it take for CIC-Manila to do Background Check?

Thanks to all and hopefully this month my family will receive their visa's.

Hindi sya mag-cause ng delay kasi MP ang mag-check pero Kung ikaw ang mag-follow-up sa Manila dun na mag-cause ng delay kasi kunin nila yong file mo. After nila icheck ilagay nila bottom ng line-up.

Lapit ka sa MP nyo sa lugar nyo meron nyan, tapos sila magcheck para sayo.

Hello my timeline:

August 2007 - submitted sponsorship application to Mississauga
January 2011 - sponsorship approved
February 2011 - papers transferred to CEM
February 2011 - my parents received the forms I sent
June 2011 - they submitted the required documents to CEM
December 2011 - medical request
February 2011 - medicals at St. Luke

Yung mga brothers ko was 17 and 14 years old when I filed it in 2007.  To they are 22 and 19 years old. Yung 22 he graduated 2 years ago, now he's working.
