Ms jomjom, Once again, I called cic-call centre this morning and I almost pissed-off to this agent because he doesnt know what he is taking about. I asked him to check my file if CPC-Mississauga notified CIC-Manila about my RPRF payment. He can not give me a clear answers and he keep telling me to re-follow up to CPC-Mississauga by fax or e-mail which I did on April 4. He told me he can't see anything on my file. I thanks to him... then I cut him off. After 5 mins, I called again. The 2nd agent I spoked was very calm and helpful. He asked me some questions for verifications then he asked me about my mom's file so he can checked it. He told me CPC-Mississauga has been confirmed and notified CIC-Manila on April 5. I am very thankful to this agent because he know what his doing which some agent is not. Hopefully this coming week decision made to all of us  |

Hi Sir Northyork, When did you pay your mom's RPRF? How did you pay it - online? It is a good news, that means CPC-Missassauga is doing their job fast it is up to CIC-Manila to move a little bit faster than usual. Everything will be fine for us... I paid thru On-line on Jan 4, 2012 then on the same day a copy of reciept was faxed to CPC-Mississauga with letter attached from Visa Manila. CIC Call Centre agent confirmed that CPC-Mississauga recieved my payment on Jan 18, 2012.
We need a little patient here, hopefully our V.O in Manila will speed up our application in their end.

my sister also called the call center to verify the faxed payment but the agent said it wont be posted this week. mga 2 weeks pa daw so it means, :p no decision made for me in 2 weeks.. hay nako..  we didnt send a copy before eh |

Sorry guys I haven't been in this forum lately. Nag vacation kasi kami sa Pinas ng 2 months!
About my parent's application we are still waiting. For those who asked about my diabetic mom, so far tapos na yung medical tests nya. May mga special tests pang ginawa for her case and ok naman hindi na ulit pinaulit ng St. Luke's dyan sa Manila. Ang dad ko naman ang re-test for sputum, alam naman natin na maraming may scar sa lungs dyan sa atin because we can be easily exposed to TB. My dad had never had it and I think they are just making sure that he is not a carrier but exposed to it lang. Yung sa mga brothers ko naman walang issues sa medicals nila.
i'm just hoping that this will be done too also but at the same time nakakatakot din ang gastos if ever. 4 tickets to fly to Canada! But kakayanin naman hehehe.

oo.. nasa rules kasi dapat you are a full time student on an accredited institution the day u were sponsored and visa is issued. may kakilala kasi kami na hindi nakasama yung brother kasi ag stop siya ng one sem... if hindi ka naman hiningan ng updated school records and nung mag submit ka noon eh student ka pa. ok lang siguro yon
i still dont get it, im sorry. nabasa ko din yung rules n un. so ikaw ba, now that youre 26 yrs old n b, youre still studying? |

Eternal student w/ no gaps... waaaa. right after my grudation 4 years ago, I had to enroll the following semester :p Hopefully di na ako mag eenrol sa June |

Hi Ms. Jomjom and Shakey... Today I got another info from CIC call centre about the RPRF validation to CPC-Missisauga and the notification afterwards. Once they notified the visa office in Manila we have to wait 30 to 45 days before they will act on our papers. In my case, CPC-Mississauga notified Visa Manila on April 5,2012 then I have to wait 'till mid of May.  ... wow that's terrible, patient..patient...patient...patient  |

Hello All, I have asked helped from our Members of Parliament to make an inquiry regarding our apllications and got a call from them that everything is already received (Passports, Updated Forms, Medical Results and RPRF Payment etc.) CIC-Manila is doing Background Check and our MP said that this is the last step before issuing Visa's. Does anybody know how will it take for CIC-Manila to do Background Check? Thanks to all and hopefully this month my family will receive their visa's. Hi Ms. Jomjom and Shakey... Ms Shakey... if you dont get your visa on the 3rd week of May, you have too enrol again to make sure your still eligible under family class.. dont worry it wont too long I am very optimistic we will get our visa very soon...just keep praying |

Background check I think it includes everything like security check, criminal records, school records etc. I think this is the stage that immigration is confirming all the details written in your applications. I will be expecting until the end April kasi sabi they already notified CIC Manila since Nov. 30, 2009 pa. Tumatagal lang kasi 6 sila lahat (principal + 5 dependents)..... Background Check? di po ba usually this is done after initial assessment? kaka confuse yung process nila.. waaaaa... sa iba ang sinabi is Security Check after medicals...
