Hi!
I have been nominated under SINP Family Category in Saskatchewan. Last October, I received a letter that I have been nominated and paid the landing fee in Canadian Embassy -Manila . Its almost 5 months since that and I have not heard from them since.
Question here is this: Can I contact the Canadian embassy Manila to get an update of the status of my application?
My sister is already in Saskatoon and told me that a lot of Filipino immigrants told her that it only took them about 2-3 months after paying the landing fee to get the medical request.
I have not received any medical request yet. My sister told me that I have to get it done as soon as possible so that I can arrive in time of summer in Saskatoon.
Please help me.

hi guys. can anyone give me ideas on the processing time of the sinp?my husband was applied under sinp by his employer july 2010.he received the certificate of nomination december 2010. his representative submitted the original documents to buffalo, usa together with the federal fees. (family included in the nomination). what would be the next step that he has to do and the fees that he still need to pay. when are we expecting the request for medical. we don't have ready money for the whole processing so we need your help for us to be prepared. thanks everyone

Hi! this may probably help.I received my file number on the first week of november 2010. my application is under AINP though but sent to manila office as well. (semi-skilled). I got my medical request about 2 weeks ago. and the letter was dated march 2011. it took me a month and a half to receive it. they used snail mail( canada post).

Hello oceanmerrick, I'm also under SINP (family). I got nominated August 2010, submitted my docs and fees September 2010, then got notice for medicals March 2011. I did not follow up with the CEM; just waited.  That's 6 months waiting time. I guess your request for medicals will be there soon. Good luck! |

I also applied for Saskatoon under family stream ...
Last March 2011, I submitted my docs in Manila..
It's been 4 months now, no notice for medical yet...
Just want to know the progress of your application..

Hello po
Still waiting for the passport request. Last Aug 5, 2011 lang yung medical ko. Ala pa akong confirmation kung nasend na ng dmp yung result ko. Before I left, sabi naman ng dmp, ok nman yung medical result ko. no further tests are required.

Wala pa rin updates. Huling tawag ko sa DMP sa Edmonton pag wala daw tawag after 10 days ipapadala na raw agad sa embassy. Wala ako natanggap na call sa mula sa clinic so ok naman at sinabi ng DMP bago ako umalis healthy naman ako. Embassy na lang ang huling say. Goodluck sa atin. Sa Pilipinas ako nagpasa kaya sana mabilis unlike sa Buffalo at sa LA napakatagal. |
