hi Sir Raniloc,

I am also filing for conjugal application. But until now, I still dont get a feedback. I filed last September. It is already taking so much longer this time.

My ECAS status is still "application received". What else can I do Sir Rani?

May i know your timeline? Our application is common-law and it took CEM 11 months before granting the visa. You can do any of the following to know the status of you application ;

1. The quickest way is to ask your MPs help to inquire the status of your file. Normally, they only respond If your application your already pass the processing time. Otherwise, you need to wait before inquiring again.

2. Second option is to ask your sponsor to request GCMS notes in Canada. You can search the forum how to request this document. It takes 1 month to receive this document.

Hope this helps... Wink Wink

Hi.. bago lang ko dito. Wala makitang thread sa FSW about same sex kya  dito ko sa fam class napunta. Anyway.. balak ko magapply sa canada kaso di ako qualified, pero ung girlfriend ko asa US, citizen na sha dun.. we've been in a long distance relationship for 8 years.. iniisip ko kung sha ang pwedeng maging primary applicant since qualified sha. Pwede nya ba ako i-include sa application nya as common law/conjugal?? kasi mahirap magapply sa US ng visa, so balak nmin sa canada na lang magsettle. Please help nmn.. naguguluhan ako.. Thanks so much Smiley

thanks Sir Rani,

Would it affect or appear in CEM that I requested for GCMS? Baka, mas lalong ma delay ang application dahil sa request na yan?

No... It will not delay your application... GCMS notes is a part of their system... parang snap-shot detail summary status ng application. They will print it either you request it as hard copy or soft copy which you can read using acrobat reader. Once you receive the GCMS, you will see there the last comments noted by the VO in your application and also whats pending.

Regards,

You mention something about applying in May 2010.. Was this the date when you first filed the application before including your partner in Jan 2012?

IT seems the VO is not convince that your relationship with your partner pass the criteria as common-law. Im sorry but  I guess its too late now to submit more evidence since they already remove him in your file. I suggest you just sponsor him once you get your  PR... In pretty sure by that time.. you have a lot of convincing evidence to show your relationship is genuine...

You can submit the follow evidence.. IF you complete all of these.. Im pretty sure you have a strong evidence to convince the VO about your relationship.  These are what we submitted by the way..  Wink Wink

1. Proof of joint bank account - photocopy of your bank book or statement of account.
2. House Bill -  Electrical bill, Internet Bill, Cellphone Bill, Laundry bill.. Any bills that will show proof of the same address.
This will further prove your are leaving together.
3. Loan applications /receipts - showing your address
4. Merchandise receipts from botiques and malls... - Everytime we buy something, we ask to put our names in the receipts.
5. Photographs - He have lots of photographs together so I created a timeline / journal from the start of relationship to present.
Each photos with dates/year and short explanation when it was taken.  I think we have a total of  15 to 20 pages of bond paper in our journal.
6. Joint owner of properties - Land, car, dogs/pets.
7. Birthdays or Weddings card invitations address to both of you.
8. Letters from your family and close friends duly notarized that will vouch your relationship as common-law. That they have known you and
witness your interdependency.
9. Internet communications - gmail, ym, skype,
10. Birthday, Anniversary, Valentine, Christmas Cards that you gave to each other.

We already submitted proofs but accdg to the visa section he did not qualify for R1 criteria/requirement....our history is I applied last may 2010. We met sept 2010. I filed him as my additional dependent as my common law partner last jan 2012. I didnt know from the start that I can include him in my application until such time i have read that its possible.so can I still make an appeal eventhough he was removed from my application as my common law partner?need some help guys....thank you.....

best thing to do wans you get here in Canada, you can make a new application and sponsor him as common-law

hi everyone!

Quebec Skilled workers naman tau.

I've been following this thread. I'm also in a same sex relationship (f2f). Also planning to apply for QSW naman. I'm a nurse. And we have this prob. Dba kelangan ng proof  like legal docs to prove that our relationship is genuine. Sabi kasi sa site ng Quebec Immigration, the docs would include joint account, same billing address. E pano un, wala kami lahat nun. Mag oopen pa lng ng joint account. What we have are letters, pics, etc. More than two years na kami and totoong live in naman. What are our other docs that we can provide?
