I just attended COA and CIIP... very informative tas nakakatulong ng malaki yung CIIP when it comes to career planning...
CIIP sa Baguio ako nag attend kaya dapat may sched ka kasi limited seats lang...
COA sa makati... pag enter mo kasi eh they check if u are on the list... yung walk in im not sure kung pwede... Grin

Hi walkin lng sa PDOS. Mon-Fri 9:30AM (about 2 hrs)
COA - u need to register or email coamanila @ iom.int
CIIP - register thru https://www.newcomersuccess.ca/index.php/register?lang=en-GB

hi jeffloujed!  you can attend COA & CIIP even without yet the VISA. Just bring with you copy of the invitation flyer they've coupled with the medical request. Me & my hubby (without VISA) have attended the two orientation programs and both were just too informative and useful in our integration to Canada...For CIIP, they will need a copy of your resume. They will teach you the Canadian way of preparing CV. It's more of helping you how to successfully land a job in Canada. Gives you idea where job market is high while COA is more of the Cultures, way of living, expectations during your first few months in Canada. I strongly advised you to attend the two programs!!!

No idea with PDOS. But I'm trying to network with forum mates regarding this. 'am not sure if it still necessary for us to attend PDOS should we enter Canada from Riyadh.

In our case sa CIIP nde required. I think inabot kami nung time na super delayed issuance ng VISA kaya pinayagan kami attend kahit wala. Pero sa PDOS ata kelangan meron na kasi tatatakan nila passport mo so kelangan makita nila visa.
