Hi,

In Economic Declaration form, In sec 11, where u need to specify work exp.
Main duties i have specified are:

1. "Working with HCL Tech as Project Lead, managing team, estimation, prioritization. Discuss system requirements with end user, preparation of test plans,tracking defects, Risk Mgmt, Process Quality Assurance."

2. Worked with TCS, development of SWIFT,messaging system, functional discussion with Business analysis and end user, evaluation of system, and identify test scenarios, team management."


I am going to apply under NOC 0213.

Are the above duties OK?

Will they consider my application?

Main duties

Computer and information systems managers perform some or all of the following duties:

Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
Assemble and manage teams of information systems personnel to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems
Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company or project
Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel and oversee their professional development and training.

If you perform the above stated duties then you do qualify.

But we cannot fill all this information in sec 11.
Whatever I have filled , i have mentioned in first thread. So please let me know is that OK or not?

   Your experience should closely match to the NOC specific list of duties. (As many as possible)
So, be very descriptive in explaining your duties that match with that of NOC.

what a co-incidence :). mine too.

aanbaan, i received my IELTS results today. L=7, R=7, W=7, S=7.5. which means now i can claim a total of 14 points in IELTS and this makes my total 74 :).

no, you need to be way more descriptive; for eg - managing team - what team you managed, what do you mean by 'manage' - recutiing them, supervising their work, allocating work, resolution of dispute of people or groups ofpeople, how many people you managed, did you manage their career growth if so in what way, did you do their appraisals, did you recommend them for other work & responsibilities - you need to be more descriptive.
The same will hold good for each & every other point; I mean pls try to be more descriptive, please try to show what they have considered as responsibilities for that NOC is actually your primary work.
