Mailed my passport

And they received it today. I thought, all they have to do is print out my visa and put it in my passport, or stamp it in (whichever it is) and it will take them roughly two weeks to do it.
Then I thought, leave it to CIC to take two weeks to do something that should take 15 minutes

And after all this time you are still surprised by this?

Not surprised, no. Just thought it was amusing. If I could have afforded to go in person I could have had it in a few hours
it makes no sense that it should take so long for this. but o well. I'm not sweating it too much because there are still some things I need to get in order before I land anyhow.
