My ecase update shows as follows

We received your application for permanent residence on October 25, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 15, 2011. Please consider delays
in mail delivery before contacting us.

Till now I have not received the mail. I have written emails to the FSW enquiry but in vain.
Why it takes so much time for a mail to come. If only the CIO & Visa office sends emails
same time they despatch the mails it will save lot of time for all of us.

I would appreciate any advice.

Dear Tvm,

Since you're belonging new rules that sent full documents to Immigration section Canada. In the old case pre June 26 applicants, they use to send just e-mail to us explaining that "please send all the supportive documents to your visa office within 4 month from the date of receiving this e-mail". I am not pretty confirm about the new system but I guess they just send e-mail after receiving the documents, only VOs use to send mail i.e. AOR after submitting full documents to them. Please see others' comments too. Best of luck.
