Gmorning,
I just joined this forum and its really informative.However, I have an URGENT question.
I have received my Passport request to be submitted within 30days for Marple leaf.But the challenge is that my Passport is with the Homeoffice for issuance of Visa.
Suppose i am not able to submit before the 30days elapse, Can i ask LVO for extra time to submit my Passport?
Has anyone experience this? SENIORS please help me!!!.I don't want to miss my Permanent Resident Visa to canada.
SENIORS your advice is highly needed. Please! Please!! Please!!!

Hi, when did you send your PP to the home office? if it is a while ago, give another a week. If you dont get them after a week, give a call to the home office. They will be able to advise you. By the way, did you complete your fingerprint. It should not take longer after your biomatrics done. Best of luck. |

i received email from LVO in the response of my CSE.
We cannot advise on the processing times of MI3 files. We are expecting to process them within 12 months from date of receipt.

both steps includes in process of application. Inprocess means they ve found ur application complete and determine u as eligible for Canadian Immigration. |

Hi Dear, No LVO will not let u know about your file status if you hired a consultant, as they only eligible to reply to the consultant , else you remove the consultant then they let you know about your case. I sended CSE but got reply that they can only reply to consultant. But this confirmed me atleast that my file is with LVO and under process  otherwise from CIO to all other stages you only have to rely on your agents e-mails. My PER also sended to the agent and he forwaded me. Hope its useful for u |

Dear members MI-3 of LVO,
My status shows
"We received your application for permanent residence on April 12, 2012."
But i received an email on 24/04/2012 with PER. and the email stated the file will be transferred to an visa office for further processing.
Can any one of you tell me the reason why the status has not changed or is there any delay in updating system.
