Keep ur hopes high fellow mi 123
Yes mr president
Cold is killing in Canada
But so is heat in Pakistan
It's 40 plus in Lahore
I have heat stroke since two days
Due to my nature of work
I have to face the cruelties on weather
Working on multimillion dollar live equipment
I know I would be way off better than here

No doubt I would take cold weather over hot weather  any day I think I am built for the cold weather.

+1 for Whiteknight for the encouraging post! +1 for Mr. President for keeping our hopes alive.

Yes guys, tolerating the cold is easier than bearing 40+ heat with no electricity !

We are better off in Canada than here !

Cheers,

TA

My fellow mi3 applicants, you have 6 more months in ur processing,
I advice you to avail some online courses, and get diplomas from online USA colleges, which will accepted in Canada
Take my example
I do certified maintenance work on newest aircrafts like Boeing 777
I have paid for online courses like plumber and home improvement
Housing and construction is one of the biggest growing industry in Canada
Yes
I will have to pass some certification exams to get liscenced
I m ready for that ordeal
1. Be ready to switch in to other professions
2. Search for hourly pay rates in Canada for other jobs
3. Get qualifications/diplomas to enhance your prospects in other fields
4. Be prepared to work for 70 hours a week to pay for your down payments for houses/ flats
5. Have complete faith in God , hard pays
6. Plan your monthly budgets by searching online prices of daily commodities.
7. Get your international driving liscence ready, it usually takes time to get a driving liscence in Canada, until then use your international lisence
8. If your spouse has some qualification and some limited skills, get teacher aide diploma so that at least she/he would get a assistant teacher job which doesn't need any liscence.
9. Search for special clothing for freezing temperatures in Canada.

Good idea ,there is also good business opportunity in Canada if you got some skills in running a business and if you got some money to take with you Canadian goverment encourage people to start small business and banks are quite cooperative in providing small business loan . Just another option people.

These onlinecorses will help u prepare for the certification tests, as most of the professions are regulated ,
If you want to be a subcontractor and ultimately want to become a full fledge contractor, you either need to hire licensed staff of you should your self be certified
Surveys shows, 60-70 percent of the immigrants had to change their professions to become Economically stable
Canadian authorities have to check that do u have the basic knowledge of your trade
Home learnings, pennfoster ect, provide u and train your for that
You can become an auto mechanic and ultimately open up ur own business
But for the start you will have to pass the test to become lisenced
These courses will help u get basic knowledge

How about starting a small food business in Calgary. For example lunch boxes or take away type of things...

This is something in my mind.. so I can take care of my kids as well instead of sending them to day care..
