A damning precedent for all aspiring Pakistani immigrants. Yet there is hope.

My experience at McGill University has convinced me that hundreds of Pakistani born Canadians will have an excellent future in Canada.

I personally know several Pakistani born immigrants who have beaten the odds, even in these uncertain economic times.

Don't let statistics taint your vision of Canada. Lets hope that the MI-3 Pakistani immigrant contingent will be the first which reverses this worrying trend.

I have so many mates settled in Canada
Each. And every one of them have very decent living
Except for some
Who never possessed any skills
Simple graduates
Struggling in Canada
My friend in IT , have offices in down town
My cousins n bro in law serving for financial institutions, they have decent living and are supporting their siblings in Pakistan, no doubt initial days were of struggle, once u are out of the initial 2 year peroid
And u have skills or education up ur sleeve, withenglish communication skills, u harvest good crops, it's one of those countries with equal opportunities, I was in Canada on a visit visa last year, it's just like USA, but less crowded, way less crime rates, but high tax, that is due to free medical
My brother settled in Uk , he deals In real estate, he says real estate business is gone
But I have seen the trend reverse in Canada
My friend bought a house for 359 k 6 months ago, now being offered 410 k
My bro is moving to Canada next month, to milk the real estate
The only country I have seen booming in real estate
While I was in Canada
All I could see was, new contractions every where
And huge sold out signs out side the under construction towns
It was just amazing
And an alarming situation for a newly immigrant , housing prices going up
Atleast the investements are safe
I know people
Who are doing double jobs and within 8 to 10 years
They have paid off mortageges
One the house is urs
What ever u earn
Life becomes very decent
