Yes you are right, but those are rare cases. The one I remember added a newborn and hence was called for an interview. But yes, it is possible.

hi dear asmb and ashely, the prob is my Consultant , when ever I call them to send a enquiry they advice me to wait to hear corrospondice from visa office , they always say we can expect ur MR on june, but I don't blv them at all!! About my time line I applied on 26 june,2011 but my file reached CIO on 30 june 2011, so I consider as MI2 2010 in my signature is for. AEO process , guys is there a way that I can send a email from my personal email to visa office ,afraid that will confuse VO cus consultant shoud send enqyury not me... ,

Your application reached London Visa Office on 22 Sep 2011, its past seven months already. I don't understand why your consultant is advising you to wait.
Please read the below from CHC UK website, and decide what would be the best course of action for you.

Average Processing Times  
Processing times begin on the day our office receives a complete application and end on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office.

Permanent Residence:
•Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008: 42 - 48 months
•Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application
•Entrepreneurs and Self-employed persons: 42-48 months
•Investors: 12-18 months
•Family Class: 6 months
•Provincial Nominee, Quebec, Skilled Workers with Arranged Employment: 6 months
•Refugees: Up to 18 months

Of course our applications are subject to greater scrutinity than the others, and many FSW2 applicants have had to wait more than a couple of years to get processed. But I think when there is a timeline given there is no harm to inquire if it has passed. I have done so in my case and will let you know if I get any favourable reply.

Oh yes, absolutely agreed. But that shouldn't be a cause for concern if the job offer is genuine. The bright side is that the application proceeded with the next steps and the verification happened simultaneously.
For FSW2 applicants anything can happen at any stage of the application. hum par magnifying glass laga hota hai, har wakt.

time starts  cic  recived  or     after PER  so thats why  rko  is MI2  is that so  RKO ??

Whether it is my own case or any other FSW2 applicant, any indication of delay causes me worry. I don't know how to be calm and not panic, I guess each ones circumstanses are different in life. I need this to happen soon soooooooo badly. I eat, drink, sleep, breathe thinking about this, can't help it bro.

Dear  rko  its better  to wait for  one more month because i  heard that  till june  all  vos are going to close

I   can  understand  ur  feelings and concerns   

but  submitting date to cic or chc  if   cic  then  its ok but for chc  we have to wait one month more

Below are the timelines for my application,

We received your application for permanent residence on March 25, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 25, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the London England office on June 1, 2010. The London England office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 20, 2012.

Its been a while and I'm anxiously waiting for a step forward. What does the last line means and where do I stand?

I wanted to know - do you check your E-CAS everyday? If your date of starting processing says April 30, then is Friday the day when E-CAS gets updated? Just wondering.

DEAR   as  per  the timeline shows in ur  forum profile then u have good chances to receive MR in may onwards but  all  cases are  different nobody  can  say  when exactly
