Dear forum members i received the following email in the response of my inquiry to LVO , i am feeling its not normal , please help me Dear Madam / Sir,
This is in response to your enquiry. Be advised that: the normal time frame for processing of this case has not yet elapsed. Please refer to the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) letter. You were sent this AOR letter on March 21 which stated the service standards for Applications for permanent residence in Canada. If an interview or background enquiries are required, processing will be much longer and it is not possible to provide an estimate at this stage. We will contact you as soon as we are ready to proceed to the next stage of processing or if we need additional documents and/or information. Yours sincerely, Client Service Unit Immigration and Medical Services Division | Direction de l'immigration et des services médicaux Canadian High Commission | Haut-commissariat du Canada 38 Grosvenor Street London, W1K 4AA | Londres, W1K 4AA United Kingdom | Royaume-Uni Government of Canada
Which letter were you sent on march 21? And did you get any letter ? Also what was your enquiry about? And I dons see anything els wrong with this response of course the normal time frame for processing of your case has not yet elapsed and also it is understood we have totally different time frame then ndvo applicants also with the time frame we are going with it will be well over a year before most of us will see visa's bit we can't let this disappoint us people of the forum they are gonna work on mi1 n 2 by June 2012 after that it's us mi3 no doubt that wait is nothing compre to 4 to 5 years what it use to be so cheer the hell up people good news is around the corner inshallah , Sabu , now, engineer , etc you guys will be the first to hear good news.

My point exactly !
We are from Pakistan, not India !, so Mi3 applicants WILL have to wait 12 - 14 months too. Well, most of us. Some will get MR sooner. I saw atleast 1 applicant - Luckymystery I thought, got his PR within the same calender year.
FWIW, we would feel lucky If could fly in July / August next year. Meaning, we expect our process to take that long.
Anyways, I am new at this, I may be wrong, I won't mind if I stand corrected.
Cheers,
TA
Dear Tania , looking at the spread sheet it seems as LVO is working in a very unpredictable fashion! .....sometimes it seems as visas are NOC specific...like a few pharmacists like lucky got their visas processed very quickly like the NVDO applicants!....now a days a few doctors with noc 3112 of the MI3 category are also getting MR's and PPR's from our very own LVO!!! Though their focus IS on MI1 and MI2 but still a very few MI3 are hearing good news too.....IS This a part of their policy that a few MI3 applicants should also be catered or are those MI3 applications being reviewed by extremely generous visa officers! any comments?

Dear Form Member, Does any one have GCMS note? I have my one. In my GCMS note, VO has done my screening and pointed out that there was overlap between my MSc and employment. I did give them a covering letter at the time of my main application. I mentioned that I worked full time as i was finalising my Msc Thesis. After having this GCMS report, I contacted my employer and they sent me a letter confirming that My employment started the date I mentioned. Now what should I do? Should I send this letter to LVO or I should wait until VO ask me to do that? Please help and share your views. Thank you.

I think your observations are correct I think they are giving priority to some NOC's of mi3 along with working on mi1 n 2 with fast pace but it is clearly stated in some of their reply they anticipate working on mi1 n 2 by June 2012 so most of us have to wait it out till then. LVO no doubt is unpredictable but sooner or later it's mi3's turn.

Absolutely, I think LVO is focusing on pre june applications. It will be our turn after that. Hope to hear good news soon. Inshallah.

Hi Sabu79, I received my GCMS notes and you can read some excerpts at the below thread. But it will not help in relation to your query as I did not have any such comments on my notes. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/canada-immigration-forum/-t101405.0.htmlASMB

Engineer,
What was the question you asked ?
Well, this definitely looks like non-standard reply.
I fail to understand why people are being unrealistic ? This immigration thing used to take years ! I personally know a family who applied in 2008 and after4 years, their case was canned !
I believe, all Pakistani applicants *WILL* have to wait for 12 - 14 months before they are awarded PR. True, there will be exceptions who will get it sooner, but the standard time frame for a fast track application for Pakistan is 12 - 14 months.G
Don't compare LVO with NDVO. India is a totally different country with fewer background checks.
Given the state of things we have in our country, we are lucky that we are allowed immigration at all !
Wait and be patient. Most of you will get PR by this time next year.
Cheers,
TAthe normal time frame for processing of this case has not yet elapsed
yea one thing for sure the crap going on in our country And with the logo of terrorism, cruption etc I am sure we are on the bottom of CIC's list . It suck when people have to go through such a hardship to qualify for Immigration and face such a uncertainty . But everything is in ALLAH hand we should pray n hope for the best.

Female n professional cook bravo ,i,ve not seen any other female with this NOC ,I think another female angel dust is also under NOC 6242 .
In our county all females are domestic cooks by default so why not use this skill and become professional. The decision was of some worth and see today my experience and hard work is paying me back. I used this experience for NOC... The funny part is that after my high school I was sitting at home doing nothing so thought to start some cooking classes...aur woh certificate bhi kaam agaya...though it was just a time paas course...LOL... Life takes turns...you never know what will happen on the next turn...Allah Kareem...

This is a standard reply. As observed recently, LVO is working on MI 1 & 2 applications. There are people who got their PER in August and September and still waiting for Medicals.
Don't get panic, hopefully some good news will come after June 2012.

@ Canadiantobe , thx for the positive words..
But what I am worried about is the e-case, why I am unable to see the status till now ( 4 months..?)
Is that standard / normal too ? Are there other ppl facing same issue from LVO ?
