URGENT QUESTION
I am looking at the LVO website and it states:
Methods of payment
(Except for applicants for temporary resident visas in the Nordic countries)
1.Applications mailed to our office or dropped off in our drop box:
The fees accompanying a permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars. Do not submit cash.
Above this though it gives details on how to make a direct deposit. I WAS going to make a wire transfer to them today and send confirmation of this payment with my updated documents. Am I able to do this or does it have to be a f#ucking bank draft?

dear ryanomil the VO still has to decide your RPRF is accepted or not after MR so pay your fee through Bank Draft / Bank Cheque. |

I am so angry at the LVO right now I wanna leave work and head into London and go say gday.
How little they think of immigrants when they only accept cheques. my grand mother doesn't even use cheques anymore and she is 96.

The reason they ask for a cheque is that they encash it when they aresatisfied with security checks and medical evaluation, otherwise it is returned. I suggest you send a cheque so as not to complicate the process. Do not be offended. This is just a suggestion. |

I do not use stone age banking techniques. I have gone to court as a company tried to refund me money which they took illegally by cheque. Terms and conditions of sales meant I got an extra 6 months interest on top of the refund as I successfully argued that my terms and conditions of sale were accepted over his and that mine specifically stated that cheques are not an accepted form of payment. |
