They are used to getting the Australian medicals rather than the Canadian ones so they seemed quite happy with the change when I went in. Good luck for your pending MR :-)

I don't sit back and relax. Trying to make me sit still is like trying to give a dog a bath. Until I have landed in Canada there is no way I can relax. This whole process is just ridiculously long and I am apparently going through pretty quickly.

I understand that it is difficult to sit back and relax but at least you have the medical done now. I am so frustrated when I see people from NDVO, who have applied after me, getting their passports already! I can't believe that it takes so long for our applications to get processed but nothing we can do about it Sad

Btw, my dog loves getting a bath and jumps right into the bath tub when I tell him it's time for a bath! Grin

Your dog is certainly a weird one. When we first picked up our dog the poor little tyke had been given a bath. So when we arrived all the other puppies came running out and ours slowly moped out in a very angry mood. Now when ever we give him a bath he doesn't talk to us for a week. It is also world war to get him in.

Poor doggy! No wonder he hates it so much. Wink Well, but to be fair our dog is a golden retriever and whenever he finds water (whether it comes from above or below) he is in it. Cheesy What kind of breed is your dog?

Border Collie crossed with a Kelpie. Stupid animal is completely obsessed with balls. The only reason my dog will get wet (with the exception of rain) is if I throw his ball into a lake. Even then he will normally hesitate before making the leap after his treasured ball :-)

Dear Yolex,

I understand your pain, we nearly went with them until we google'd them and found a lot of bad reports, have they given you a consultant in South Africa? Just remember with them that regardless of whether you finish it yourself you still have to pay them.

Regards
Stuart

Thanks for the support Stuart74. The office I used is based in London and I normally google everything like that but have missed it this time. They claimed to be 1 of the best & were not bad until the file was sent, then nothing. I have paid already before file was sent so it does not matter I guess. Hubby is thinking in complaining or maybe report them due to awful customer service and failing to deliver what was offered but not sure if it'll do any good.
Anyway, I was thinking maybe taking direct control is the best we should do now....

How much does he weigh?

I don't have a clue... Smiley. Can remember the amount in stones since it means nothing to me as I grew up with Kilos...He's quite tall though and he's mostly put on some weight around the belly....He's not massive though but I'm pretty sure that with BMI thing he'll be classed as overweight at least (..maybe I'm wrong)

Hey Yolex,

Yes we started at the London office then they moved us to an Office in South Africa where their best Canadian Consultant was, that is the point we got out, Customer Service and contact is poor, and they have endless complaints against them for bullying and harrassement of clients to get money out of them or for people who have complained.

Your best route is now that it is with the Visa Office is as you said take control of it yourself, good luck.

Hey Stuart,

ha's definitely right. I have managed to get a new scanner now so I am sending the cancellation form and updated address to whoever replied to me from the LVO since they have been helpful. Hopefully they'll accept that copy to start updating file and if they need anything extra I suppose they will let me know.
